Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB proponents keep giving me justifiable reasons not to take them serious and support their agitation even when some of the issues they raised are reasonable. I mean, only a ruler/domineering personality would accept this act of shame. The major hallmarks of a leader are humility and honesty, unfortunately he lacked them. He's not a leader but a ruler - a megalomaniac. As for the feeble-minded old fools that knelt before him, shame unto them. There's nothing respectful about their negative action. I just do not understand. I thought this guy was a politician/freedom fighter? Now he seems to be some sort of priest/religious symbol. The crazy thing is that the authorities do not seem to realise the importance of this. If Kanu turns his crazy Biafra agitation from one which is political to one with a religious connotation, things are going to get even more complicated. I do not think even he himself is aware of the consequences of his actions. He is driven more by greed than true Igbo nationalism. It is well people forming ITK and Y2k, so since when kneeing down for a next man an offence they own thier own legs and are free to bend it how the like it, I have seen a full grown man with agbada(white) lay down for a next man in Lagos, nobody shout nobody die, i think its a thing of respect and tradition, if them people think it appropriate then so be it if you think its not right then when face with such situation do not do it simple instead of castigating or forming ITK. |
