Letter from Landlord, current NEPA bill or water bill as proofs of address.

My application was for settlement, and TLS personally directed me to send the documents to sheffield myself as they don't collect documents for Settlement.
ekpotek:

TLS/home office no longer collect physical documents. All documents are scanned to home office and returned to back to you. Was your application for a visit visa or other forms of visas?

After filling and submitting the online form at vias4UK. The next step is to pay for visa and associated fees online depending on which TLS centre you choose to submit. Each application form have a reference number. Use this reference number after creating an account on the TLS website/centre selected for submission to book appointment. It is on TLS website that you can book appointment to submit your documents and not on visa4UK site. I hope this clarification helps.

It is onus on the applicant to submit the necessary documentation to support their visa application. The home office is not in the habit of waivers or giving any benefit of doubt for absence of documents for visit visas. It's important that applicants do not give the ECO any reason to refusal their application based on lack of document.

Hello Ekpotek,
I have just clicked on submit and I was asked to choose an appointment date on the visa4uk page. the only thing is that the appointment date I want to choose, is in July but this calendar only goes to June end. I wonder what will happen to my application. I suppose I should be able to come back here earaly July and submit it again. Also if we are selecting appointment dates on the visa4uk site , what about the TLS site. what other kind of appoinment are we selecting there? How many appointments can one person have. This used to be easier without any third party interference oh. Thank you

Showstopa, did you try to change the month on the page by clicking the arrow to the right of June 2017? It's on the visa4uk site that you choose an appointment date, what you will do on the TLS site is download and print your payment confirmation, submitted application and document checklist which must be brought to the visa application centre on your appointment date.

Please am I supposed to bring along passport photographs to the visa application centre for the appointment or a photo of me will be taken during biometrics?

dcutey, Yes I did. I feel like maybe the only allow a month to completely be exhausted before the open another month. The date son July were greyed out and I wanted to choose a specific date in July cos my Mum would be in Abuja that period.
Please does anyone have application checklist from TLS so we can make sure we have everything there before she gets there. I appreciate

Thank you

Had an appointment today at their Churchgate tower 2 in VI and I went there with two passports but none was taken from me. Infact, all the documents I submitted was scanned and returned to me after everything b4 heading for my biometric. The only thing that was taken from was my passport and first page of the application printout.

Yes it is very important

Tax clearance is required if you're self employed or not on PAYE system

The way it works, each day extends the month For example tomorrow the 13th would add an extra day

Thank you

I did it again starting with the GWF and then the 9 digit numbers, but still no way. Or is it because it doesn't work at night, but works during working hours alone?

I really don't know, it should work both during working and non working hours. has it been long she had her biometrics? cross check if her GWF reference number is correct, if it doesn't work again and you are really eager to know her application status, you can go to their embassy and ask them, they will be able to tell you the status of her application.

Travelland is absolutely right, payment of tax shows that one is law abiding and will improve chances of getting a visa.

Hello, I had the same issues with the link initially. When you copy and paste the link in your browser, check the GWF number at the end of the link. Make sure it is yours. I had to delete what was there and entered mine manually before I got a response. Hope this works for you.

Thanks for sharing. Please could you give an update on your experience at the embassy tomorrow? I'm planning to come from outside Lagos so I need information on time and requirements please. I opted for delivery since I'm out of Lagos but my travel date is close and coming over to pick it up seems like my best bet. Would appreciate your update.
God bless.

@travelland

VFS is not UK immigration and cannot influence your application. I repeat the home office knows if you are paying tax from your pay slip. So submission of tax clearance is only required if this is not evidence on the pay slip you submitted. I rest my case.
