I'm never doing this again in my life! Being with someone I do not love? Never again. Me and ex were together for 7 long years. I didn't love him. I couldn't. Mum always told me better a man loves you than the other way round. I believed her.

For the former, it makes things easier for you; he's most likely to propose, and when he does and you're faced with a family that doesn't really welcome you, he's likely to defend you, and make it known to them you're his wife. While in the latter; he may play you, and if he marries you for reasons he knows best, there's no guarantee you'll be treated right in the marriage.
