I don't know meiran.... ask your friend where is easier to get to, CMS or Obalende. Some places like meiran usually have buses that go directly into the island during work days.
Wether CMS (bus) or Obalende (Keke), take either of the bracketed means of transportation going anywhere in VI (Adeola odeku, Bar beach, Law school etc) and tell them you are going to the US embassy. If you take a keke, you can ask the rider to stop you at the car park(after you descend the first bridge into VI, before Bonny camp) but if you take a bus then you stop at Bonny camp (for buses going to adeola odeku/barbeach) or Walter Carrington for law school bus.

Why not get your friend to arrange a taxi that would take you there?

please i have been denied five times. am a student in ukraine.. i have friend who is us citzen who is inviting me. everytime i go the vo said you need to change our application. and secondry ask if i have traveled anywhere outside ukraine and and said no. almost 3 times they asked that question.
i applied 4 times in ukraine and 1 in nigeria..
what should i do. please advice

I have some concerns which I will like to share with my noble family. I applied for student visa to Canada this year Jan but was denied though they stated I can re apply, but what pained me so much was that my company wanted to sponsor it.

That's by the way, I had plans to to see a gynea for medical investigation if i have gotten my Canadian visa but since they denied me I have made up my mind to apply to USA on medical grounds.

I have also applied for a pleasure (vacation) visit last year to USA but was also denied. am confused as I don't know if I will also be denied if I applied on medical grounds.

PLEASE my great family I need your advice as in what to do and how to go about it.

You will run into problems convincing the consulate that you are really married. If he's marrying you, he should do the needful, come to Nigeria and marry you. Call me old school, but i don't believe a woman should be the one worrying about how a marriage is going to take place.

This sounds more like a scam to me. Why should your uncle be "helping matters"? Is he the one getting married? Thankfully America is getting wiser to these sort of scams. Good luck with your "marriage".
