You are the one who does not know the meaning of industralized.. Just like saying becos Nigeria has mushroom industries everywhere it is now more industralised than the United states or even SA? He mentioned Trans amadi industrial layout, Onne industrial etc.. You think its by building biscuit and paint factory everywhere thats how u know a place that is indutralised?.. Apart from federal allocation can u compare IGR generated from both states?
calm down ur nerve, he never made mention of any thing, just pulling statistics,
Trans amadi is the the only industrial layout I can confirm. Onne is not an industrial estate , maybe u need to get the meaning of these two words estate and industry then u will know meaning of industrial estate.
Mind you Ogun have more than 5 industrial layouts or estates.

what will make leave my hometown in Lagos to a state where bloodshed is the order of the day.
The only difference between rivers and borno is geographical location and development .
These two states re danger zones where human lives means nothing .

However industrialised means wide scale of industries in a region or country.
Tell me how many industrial layout or estates do rivers state havegrin

I'm not here to argue with you. Enugu is not really an industralized city. Oyo is ahead of Enugu as long as the presence of industries are concerned.

I am not into the comparison, but Enugu is getting heavily industrialized.
Emene and ninth mile especially

Warri is the most industrialized city in Delta followed Asaba though most companies in Asaba have closed shop like SIO, ASABATEX, Asaba aluminium, that steel company along Ogwashi Ukwu, etc.

Sapele is not that industrialized
Delta have two steel companies Nigerdelta steel company warri, and Eastern steel company along Asaba/Onitsha road, Wichtech industry Okpana road Asaba and many industries in Asaba industrial layout

Lol...the same Lagos where armed robbery is the other of the day. Was it not a few days ago some men were caught with human head in ikorodu? How many bank robberies alone took place in Lagos last year? You are on a long think if you think the SW is safer than Rivers.
SW where human head and body parts are caught with people everyday. Now think of the ones who don't get caught.

This thread is about industrialization, if you dont have nothing to say, keep shut.

Roughly 4 million people live in or around PH metropolitan area and more people are tropping in everyday in their hundreds to make a living. If PH were that unsafe, people would run away from it. I was born in PH and lived there until I was 23 and I've Never gotten mugged or even seen a home robbery once with mine eye. It f**king depends where you're staying and your movement pattern. Lots of people are killed, kidnapped and robbed in Lagos more than in every other city in Nigeria. Because you hear of more blog stories from their doesn't mean it's hell.

And if you've not been to a place don't attempt to draw a conclusive opinion on that place. From your comment, one would be forgiven to think you've never crossed Ore before. Nigeria is BIG and broader than your horizon.

then u re lucky, there is never a week without shedding of blood in rivers state, beheadings, political killings, e.t.c a rivers indigene testify here on nairaland that there is a particular location in rivers state where they kidnap and request for recharge cards.
We saw a radio presenter protesting unclad at the commissioner for police office because of daily arm robbery on a particular section of rivers state. I have never hear of mass killings in my state where more than hundred people were killed because of their political party but it happened in river state.
I have lost count of APC lawyers, politicians, members that have being killed in rivers state .
What makes rivers state different from southern kaduna

you people comparing west vs east should be ashamed of your self, we have 3 international ports that have been refused to be dredged and everything comes in through Lagos but a state like Anambra, Enugu, Rivers, and Cross River is competing with you. not to mention Imo state. competing with you guys, I've been to kwarra, oyo, and ogun, I was surprised to still see mud houses there. Enugu is the only state in the east with red sand(I stand corrected) but you won't see mud houses there, even in the village.

Hundreds? Spiteful exxegerration! Most of the political killings in Rivers state happen in rural communities far away from the city. Cult vices in Port H Metro although on the rise is not unlike many cities in Nigeria. We hear of killings in Owerri, Lagos, Ikorudu, Ogun, Kaduna. But the perception of SS and the militancy issue of the past has damaged our image in the eyes of people who have infact never lived there at any point in their lives .

majority of Lagos crime has to do with frauds, swindlers, cyber crime and others. Barbaric killings is not popular in Lagos, mass political assasination has never happened in my state, cultist war is not popular in my state, amnesty for cultist or millitants is not in my state .

River state in the last 2yrs has witnessed more killings more than any southern state in Nigeria#FACT.

To the extent the state is now tag by media houses RIVERS OF BLOOD

I don't need statistics of petty crimes

op, the most industrialized state in nigeria is ogun, although they are just converting it to revenue for the state.
industry is different from commerce, most of our states offers services, few produces, my ranking, ogun, anambra, abia, kaduna, plateue/oyo, oyo is the most foolish of the set, they dont have any biz owing salary, but they do.
I'm from osun, live in lag.
