drivers that like buying coke and pepsi etc from traffic pls watch out for those with white covers.

they are faker than nicki minaj's ass.
Pls stop spreading unverified news, that brand isn't fake.
If you are a regular buyer of 7up bottling company products you will know they are never consistent with the covers, they produce white and the normal brand color. Whichever one you buy it's original from the manufacturer.

If you are still in doubt of my statement, pls visit the factory, then come here to quote me wrong

40k is too high for a 2000 car. considering the fact that your driver will receive too many cancellations based on logistics because riders wont want to enter a car that is kabu kabu drivers favourite.

No, you can register even if the car is not yours. All card payments will be paid to your account too unlike Uber that pays to your partner

Why is uber now collecting year 2000 cars ? They want to kill uber. How can I call an uber taxi and see a 2000 corolla. If I want to take 2000 car, I'll go for yellow taxi. Please uber should do fast and reverse this policy else they loose good cars on uber platform.

Call yellow cabs nau, as if the yellow cabs will give u AC, meanwhile they still won't collects the ridiculous price that comes with riding secured n comfy

You think Uber listen? They are most obdurate people I have ever seen. They are very adamant to correction. They are even advising us to trade our cars for lesser cars. Like if you have 08 model you sell it and buy 2000 model. Let's see where their obduracy will take them to.

To be fair, regardless of what company you drive for, I think there is a huge disparity between rental and HP arrangements.

I don't think any rental car agreement should be above N30,000 weekly as drivers need to have the incentive of owning the car to pay higher. Whoever requests higher than this should prepare to have their car wrecked, and basically, they won't recover their investment.

I think you can just buy like 5cars for Uber anD supply it for rental, for less than 30k weekly. @ least set an example for others.

Uber is useless. How can u carry someone from ikoyi to festac for 970. Beside there 25 percent is too high. Even d yellow cabs charges higher than uber. Uber u on AC, u receive insult from some arrogant girls way there papa no get car. U give them comfort and no payment for such comfort. Taxify is d best buy no get much rider.

Uber got away with this ridiculous price regime due to inaction by drivers. If all drivers had decided to boycott them for just a week. Things wont be this bad. I am very sure if they either increase their fees from 25% to 35% or reduce the price again Lagos drivers will continue to drive.

I am out of Uber for now.

Taxify in Lagos continues to grow, thanks to you, our partners!

In this message, you will find an update about bonus conditions for this week and dynamic pricing.

Taxify wants you to earn more!
We have set out to be the platform that ensures our driver-partners earn more and we want to always keep to that.

Per trip compensations
In line with recent developments, we will be updating rider fares for the week to ensure your trips and earnings do not reduce this week. To compensate for the change to typical rates, you will get +20% added to fare for each client serviced during this period.

We also take 10% less commission, but for this period we will not collect any commissions, so you will take home more on each trip!

Introducing Dynamic Pricing

We believe this week will be VERY busy and there will be peak demand, and for this, we will introduce dynamic pricing to allow you earn more asides from the per trip bonus.

What does this mean?

You will see a multiplier on the top right of your app to show you how many times the normal rate you will be earning.

For example, if a trip normally costs ₦1000 and the surge multiplier is 1.5x, this means you will earn ₦1500 (before commissions are deducted).

The client will be fully aware of this as they have to accept the trip based on these conditions beforehand

N.B! We believe with this ride price this week, you will receive more trip requests. Do stay ONLINE and take advantage of Dynamic Pricing and Back to Back rides as you shall receive a lot more this week.
