What Does Ibibio have in common with Urhobo, benin And Itshekiri? by Gracebae(f): 4:46pm On Jun 26, 2017
Innocent question please to my so called south south people.

what is Niger delta, what commonalities does an urhobo, a benin or an itshekiri have with an ibibio, ikwerre, efik or even ogoni over an igbo man, who is not only a direct neighbour but shares cultural similarities... For the records, Abiriba people in Abia state today are a mixture of Ibibio and igbos. Also to note Aro-Ndizuogu in Imo state, Aro-Chukwu in Abia state, Aro-Ikot ekpene in Akwa ibom and Aro-Echie in river state are of the same descendant of the biblical Aroli(younger brother to Eri in Anambra state) who are all the children of Gad who is also the first son of Jacob, that is why you see Arochukwu people and ikot ekpene people wear the same dress and their men tie wrapper. igbos and efiks shared the Nsibiri writings, the ekpo festival in some parts of igbo land originated from the efiks, the igbos, ijaws and ibibios all worship Amadioha and were always going for pilgrimage in Arochuwku all before the white man came and all through our history, there has never been a case of enslavement or fighting rather we traded with our neighbors, lived peacefully and intermarried ourselves. I want someone to tell me something similar that had happened like that in the so called identity crisis suffering Niger delta....An ibibio man jumped over the whole of igboland in southeast all the way down to benin, itshekiri, urhrobo and became Niger delta and one people..yeye dey smell.... I need answers

Minority! Pure and simple. None is big enough to dominate the others. The Ibos will swallow you up and make your tribe extint. Dominance is the reason the south south can not be part of Biafra. Running from a hausa/fulani dominated Nigeria to an ibo dominated Biafra is the bitter pill the south south are not willing to swallow.

The picture i posted of former governor akpabio, on a good day if you dont know him and he is dressed like that and that is his traditional dress, where will you think he is from? .....we dont have anything in common

The ekpo festival observed in some igbo communities was adopted from the efiks.........we dont have anything in common

Abiriba people of abia state share a mixture of igbo and ibibio ancestry same as Arochukwu and Aro ekot ekpene.......we dont have anything in common

Whats of religious pilgrimage to Arochukwu(which was like the Jerusalem of the old) observed by ijaw, ibibios, efiks and igbos? ..........we dont have anything in common.

and by the way Ibibios are republican and individualistic in nature like the igbos

its either you are not ibibio or you are plain ignorant of our history and culture?

I do not wish any disdain to a fellow human being but I must say you are irreparably ignorant. In fact, there is no need to educate a stiff such as you and should be left with a long life of wallowing in abysmal idiocy. I can never encourage myself to denigrate either Ibibio, Annang, Ogoni Ejegahm or even person from Kalabari.

This thread is about Biafra as some are trying to turn it into.

What does an Urhrobo man have in common with an Ibibio man? What does an Ibibio man have in common with an Ijaw man? What does an Ijaw man have in common with an Ogoja man? What does an Ogoja man have in common with an Ogoni man?

The only thing these tribes have in common is Igbo. O ly Igbo unites all of them because it is only Igbos/Igboids that hace a land border with all of them

you are talking nonsense and contradicting yourself.I thought you said we dont have anything in common with the igbos? if our ancestors have settled in arochukwu and latter migrated, that means they not only have interacted but also would have learnt and exchanged values and culture

You see how foolish you are? Nobody is forcing anybody here i only ask what do i have in common with you dumb benin, itshekiri and urobo people that you come and lump everybody into Nigerdelta gibberish like as if we are one people, culture and nation?

What do igbos have in common because they are the most divided tribe I have ever seen despite they speak the same language.

BTW why don't you go and ask what does England, Ireland and Scotland have in common despite they don't speak the same language.

if any true ND person wants to fight the igbos here, Please you murder-forkers and biicthes should do it with your tribe name and don't drag all the tribes in the ND to your fight. This will be the last time i will warn them unless i will lead the fight against any tribe in ND trying to drag ibibio into their fight against the igbos.
