Excesive sex and mastubation causes permanent damage biologically and spiritually. Sex is addictive and it has been scientifically proven that excesive sex make people duller and less productive. devil knows this and use this to waste so meny glorious Destinies. There are 2 bloods in Man; the red blood cell erythrocytes carries life-oxygen, the white blood cell lymphocytes carries your protection and defence (spiritually too). Spam is cells; white blood cell. The more you waste it unnecessarily, the more defenceless you (and your Glory) become to microbes and even spiritual scavengers.
I've not seen any one that genuinely totally submitted to GOD and regret it later, unless those self-deceiving Christians. 
Like myself, most of my genuine Christian mates are doing fine now.
Unless you are married, abstainance makes you spiritually Strong and invincible.
To run away from sin is not a favour to GOD but a sure protection for your Glory and Destiny.
I remeber when I newly made up my mind not only to be genuinely bornagain but to take full charge of my Destiny, after like 2 months of no sex, I would be feeling horney. Holy Spirit also told me to starve the demons to death, "releasing your sperm outside marriage is handing over your Protection to your enemy". Ever since I stopped being stupid spiritually, I grew from being a child of GOD to a Son of GOD.

Afrer sometimes of trying to stop fornicating without success, I used to look at any bornagain as pretender. It was sooooo hard for me to take my mind off the pleasure of sex. Is it possible to live without sexual immorality? The truth is that it is very POSSIBLE! I relate and talk more to average unperfect Christians because I've "bin ther done that" and I know how hard/painful it could be wanting to please GOD but feeling so... I'm happy to tell you that GOD understands, all you need do is that you must NEVER give up on trying to be Holy; that's the key. HE just want you to be sincere like David. Because of Pride, most people don't table their weakness before GOD. David wept bitterly before GOD, confessing and telling GOD that he had a weakness that would destroy him if GOD doesn't intervene. GOD saw his sincerity and proclaimed him to be a "Man after my Heart" All HE needs is your sincerity. Philippians 1:6 "HE that began the good Work in you is more than able to perfect you" When you realize that out-of-wedlock sex is the most effective weapon of the enemy through which you are being rubbed of the speedy fulfillment of your Glorious Destiny, then you'll know it's mandatory to abstain. The big question is HOW?
1. To start with, you have to be very sincere and determine that you want to be Holy(it's a very Great Power). 
2. Read/watch/listen to only books/movies/musics that glorify GOD and fill your mind with love for GOD and desire to see the world become better and Holy. Read The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, HE Came to Set the Captives Free by Rebeca Brown, The Spirit of Leadersip by Mylse Muroe, etc.
3. Remind people that Rapture is about to happen and the need to be Holy and rapturable (the devil hates preaching with strong animosity). The more you evangelize, the easier it is for your not to do things you spoke against (scientifically proven that you find it more difficult to do things you condemn). 
4. Pray fervently during your private vigils on your bed that Holy Spirit should take permanent control of your thoughts and the Source of your Thoughts. 

5. Thanks GOD continually everywhere in your mind, while working, eating, bathing, every time. It's the Key to your next Level of Greatness.
Finally, if you still don't have the Grace to abstain, get married. "Pride goeth before destruction", a cheap wedding with the presence of Parents, Pastor and few important people is acceptable. Even as a student, you can marry and take injections that prevent pregnancy. That way, you and your hubby focus on fulfilling your Glorious Destiny with clean conscience. The major cause of all problems in the world today (resent alarming rate of divorce, corruption, murder, armed robbery, etc.) resulted from indiscriminate sex with different partners. The day you start having sex with another person other than your first love/partner, a large part of your conscience dies.
We shall not miss Heaven in JESUS Name.
