Estonia Yes 1. Yes, in Estonia there is an immigration quota. The annual immigration quota is the quota
for foreigners immigrating to Estonia, which shall not exceed 0.1 per cent of the permanent
population of Estonia annually. The permanent population is considered to be Estonian
citizens living in Estonia, third-country nationals who have a long-term residence permit and
who are living in Estonia and EU citizens with a permanent residence rights and their family
members. The following persons are not included in calculating the fulfilment of the
immigration quota:1) Estonians; 2) the spouse of an Estonian citizen, an Estonian a TCN,
who resides in Estonia on the basis of a residence permit, to whom a residence permit is
issued to settle with the spouse; 3) a minor and adult child, parent and grandparent and a ward
of an Estonian citizen, an Estonian and a TCN, who resides in Estonia on the basis of a
residence permit, to whom a residence permit is issued to settle with the close relative; 4) a
TCN who is granted a residence permit for study; 5) a TCN who is granted residence permit
for employment with the purpose of research activities on condition that the TCN has
appropriate professional training and education, or as a lecturer in Estonia in an educational
institution which complies with the requirements established by the legislation; 6) a TCN
who is granted a residence permit for the participation in criminal proceedings; 7) a TCN to
whom the issue of a residence permit is justified and who does not present a threat to the
interests of Estonia and who settled in Estonia before 1 July in the year 1990 and has not left
to settle in another state after the indicated deadline; cool a citizen of the United States of
America; 9) a citizen of Japan and; 10) a TCN who has been granted the residence permit
considering the fulfilment of immigration quota, and who thereafter has not left to settle in
another state; 11) a TCN who has been granted a residence permit for study if he or she is
applying for a residence permit on any basis; 12) an alien who has been granted a residence
permit on the basis specified in point 2) or 3) if he or she is applying for a residence permit on
any basis;13) an alien who is granted a residence permit for settling permanently in Estonia.
2. The maximum limit of the immigration quota is stipulated by the Aliens Act and the
immigration quota for a specific year is established by a regulation of the Government of the
Republic taking into account the permanent population of Estonia. The Minister of the
Interior may establish a distribution of the quota for different types of residence permits or a
temporal distribution of the quota.

TCN simply means third country national. I believe this will put to rest the argument over the quota as applicable to the students seeking TRP.

We spoke at lent that day and he gave me his contact In case in need internship wit the embassy ... Y"should think of gettin to Estonia and leave that invalid argument ..

Bro the above is a resolution and the agreement is reached by all the European nations, this one is applicable to Estonia and mind you it's binding, any change or alteration to the above is not what somebody somewhere thinks or feel, if you're not a member of the Estonia Legislative or Executive council you may not have much to say on the above. This is not Nigeria or any African country where things are done through the back door.

God bless you for this contribution. Sincerely, school doesn't have business with any of the embassies here, the best they've done was to have addressed the admission letter to them. They even said it in the COE mail that embassy shd appeal to them directly should they need clarification. It was stated in the mail that it shd be printed and taken along to embassy.

At this point, it will be a good thing if the school can send a representative to Nigeria to clear all applicants this would enable all to channel applications to one embassy. I remember this one done by one university in Ukraine years ago when my Bro got admitted n they all got their visa.
Lets keep trying or if there's a good writer here, you can write to school on behalf of all applicants though I once gave them this suggestion but no response till date.

Lets hope they are bringing their embassy to Nigeria soon. Wish you all d best in this struggling of life

You are an inspiration to mankind.

Abeg make I send you mail. I need to follow people like you.

men l truly don't understand your argument, if there's anything you're not sure of why not Google it,to shed more light on your argument check this link, www.vm.ee/en/newsletter.
If l am not mistaking the last paragraph of the page says the policy does not include people coming for research and purpose of study. and l guess TRP is different from WP and RP,, temporary residents permits is for purpose of study and research, while working permit and permanent resident permit, are issue to workers and EU citizens. knowledge,we need not perish for lack of it.

There has been a lot of misleading post on this forum, this is the reason we are facing problem with our processing now, The music of India is the best route, Egypt is a no go area, is what landed us in this problem now. let's research and make this forum more educative instead of making it scary. Let's do more of brainstorming than putting fear in people, let's have a constructive idea on the way forward. we are all aspiring to be successful, and we shall by God grace.
how is Egypt a no go area please tell me cos am planning to use the route.

The news below was on June 1, 2017.....please dont blame india and egypt for the scenarios there, i guess they are only acting based on instructions and those plannning to go to other places, please send a mail to the embassy to confirm if you can come stating the most probable date you feel you can. Its the case of manchester united playing barcelona and only one viewing center could show it...am sure you know what that means. God bless you all.

..................THE NEWS.......................

The Estonian Government must soon decide what to do in a situation, where businesses struggling with workforce shortages wish to bring in workers to Estonia, but the 0.1 per cent quota for residence and work permits stipulated by law will already be filled by the middle of the year.

Interior Minister Andres Anvelt is scheduled to take the issue of immigration quotas to the government within the next few weeks, the public broadcaster ERR reported on Friday. This year's quota for temporary immigration for citizens of countries from outside the EU is 1,317 people, but as of right now, 854 permits have been issued, which indicates that this year's quota may already be filled in summer.

Anvelt told ERR that while the easiest option would be to increase the quota, he is not certain if that would be the best option. He said that the strongest pressure to allow more immigrants to come to Estonia is coming from construction and industrial companies, but the state would like to receive educated workforce. This is why, when deciding over immigration permits, Estonia should implement a points system, which in addition to the needs of the labor market would also assess the education level and adaptability of the people arriving in the country.

Please stop misleading people about this resident permit of a thing and if Egypt embassy or India embassy decides not to give visa its not because Estonia government give them any direct order but they are acting in their own way. read carefully the information below.

Estonia's annual immigration quota, which regulates temporary residence permits for enterprise and employment-based immigration from third countries, is on track to be reached this summer already.

This year's immigration quota is 1,317 people. As the Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) has issued 893 residence permits within the year's immigration quota and another 320 applications are currently being pricessed, the immigration quota will be reached this summer, after which no more applications will likely be accepted, likely as of the end of June, according to a Ministry of the Interior press release.

The ministry has analyzed different options for changing the immigration quota regulation and presented the results of the analysis to the government. "The immigration quota has been applied in Estonian migration policy since 1990 already and by today it has clearly become obsolete," commented Minister of the Interior Andres Anvelt (SDE). "In the coming weeks, the government must make a decision on the establishment of a broad-based work group in order to involve all cooperation partners in developing proposals suitable for Estonia and which the Government can then take forward. We need to find a smart solution that would take into account the needs of the labor market and allow us to flexibly respond to changing circumstances."

Upon the fulfilment of the immigration quota, foreign specialists can use the registration of short-term employment as an interim solution. A foreigner who has a legal basis for temporary stay in Estonia and whose employment has been registered with the Police and Border Guard Board prior to beginning work may be employed in Estonia for a brief period of time without a residence permit. Short-term employment in Estonia may last up to nine months during one year. The registration of short-term employment can be applied for by the employer in person, via an authorized representative at a service office, by mail or via email.

Estonia's annual immigration quota includes temporary residence permits issued for employment or business and under an international agreement. The quota of 0.1 percent of the permanent population of Estonia derives from the Aliens Act. The quota does not include family migration, migration for studies (including researchers and teaching staff), commencement of employment in ICT or in a start-up, foundation of a start-up, acting as a major investor, and extensions of residence permits. The quota also does not include citizens of the EU and their family members as well as the citizens of the U.S. and Japan. Thus, such will still be able to settle in Estonia even after the immigration quota is reached.

Every year, more than 6,500 foreigners come to live in Estonia, just under half of whom are utilizing the right of free movement of persons or are EU or Swiss citizens. People from third countries come to Estonia to study or work or accompany their family under a temporary residence permit. http://news.err.ee/601119/immigration-quota-for-the-year-to-be-reached-in-june

I was at the Egypt embassy on Wednesday and was told they no longer issued visas to candidates going to Cairo for Estonian visa appointment,I asked the woman when next I should apply, she told me her advice is that I try another route. So the best thing right now is to go the normal Egypt tourist visa application route. I have an agent who is good with that and we have an agreement that there would be a discount if we are up to 5 candidates. So any Msc candidate interested should give me a call at 08036626137.

Bro do they issue visa to those that went for B.Sc as well as have gotten my entry permit as well.
nairaspace:

It wasn't even a tourist or student visa. It was an entry permit for a world event. All passports can enter as long as the person can acquire the entry permit which actually took less than 2weeks to be approved for electronically. I shared the process with a couple of people that messaged me privately but the time line was very close, you have to leave Russia July 12th and you cant overstay. That was also the reason i was saying whoever wants to go should be ready to fly June 15th.
My guys are returning to Nigeria after that whole process, they are awaiting D-visa to be issued.

1. no Estonia Embassy in South Africa.....its only Egypt in Africa.

2.
STEP 6

After the tuition fee has been transferred to the account of Euroacademy, the letter of acceptance will be sent to the applicant.
The applicant informs Euroacademy in which Estonian embassy he/she can apply for visa and residence permit.
Euroacademy is going to send an invitation to the Estonian embassy and to the Police and Boarder Guard. The invitation is not resent in the same term anymore if for any reason an applicant could not go to the embassy he/she chose or if an embassy refused to give the person a visa.

but no harms in checking with the school
