Cannot be true means in all circumstances the statement is false. While I got news for you. All the schools I applied to in the USA and Canada, none has ever asked me for my WAEC and rightfully so. This is because outside of Nigeria, most schools and employers are of the persuasion that the best way to judge an applicant is not an exam he took in one sitting, but on the progress he has continued to make over a span of six years as demonstrated by his/her transcript. That said, some schools will demand for your WAEC with their minimum requirement for each region. Those are the schools that are used to having a heavy population of Nigerian and other international students applying. In the end even with those schools, the emphasis is on your grades-transcripts. I for one attended schools and and lived in the west for many years. I have also helped many a relative apply and gotten into great schools in Canada. It's always been their transcripts that are demanded. As a matter of fact, I in particular have enjoyed the singular distinction of never having used my WAEC for anything since I left secondary school. If I lived in Nigeria, it could have been different. The gist is, follow the instructions of the school you applied and submit whatever is required. There are no alternatives to following instructions.

There's no need to rush to apply to a school,there's still time bro.My candid advice is that you chill and atleast get a hold of your Waec result, Don't be in a rush, besides you concluded your SSCE with this exam so why not get a hold of your hardwork.. You might be needing the hard copy (statement of result) sooner or later...Just my thoughts tho, Goodluck anyways in whichever choice you make sir!!

You don't need an agent. Download the document checklist and proceed with your TRV application.

Am a new member here, a friend have been telling me the good work you guys are doing here. i need your kind help.
My good people please i need your help, I had my first degree on Human Physiology and i gain admission to Brandon University to study psychiatric nursing, I refused visa base on the following reasons (1) No travel History (2) Current employment situation (3) purpose of visit.though i stopped working for awhile before applying and i stated it there that am not working during my application but states where i have worked before then include the appointment letters. The visa officer asked me to reapply if am able to meet up to the requirement stated above. I submitted all documents needed both the admission letter and all before to convince them. please nobody is an island i need your kind help to refire to enable me conquer this time since am given the opportunity to reapply. your nice response will be highly appreciated because am confused.

The next step is to start reading for information here on how to prepare a good visa application and also understand how to arrange the right documents peculiar to your situation.

Please this goes out to all of us who applied with upfront medicals to CIC and have been getting medicals passed in just 1 or 2 weeks after application. I think the way they review application files have changed from Background Check to Medical. It is now Medical - Background - Review of Eligibility. So, Yea! get excited! but don't be carried away. Let us keep firing in our prayers for immediate approval as well as positive review of our Eligibility and Backgrounds.

Just my thoughts.

It will end in praise by God's grace and our cases shall be positively different.
