Sleeping beside someone who snores really loud can really be a nightmare, it becomes worse when it find it hard to fall asleep on a normal night.

When it comes to snoring, men will be the no.1 culprit, because it is most unlikely for ladies who love people to believe that they are well mannered and can't hurt a fly to snore in their sleep. But ladies do snore alright and I proved that to a certain somebody who denied it vehemently by recording it.

But, your favorite health blogger FitnessDoctor is not yet to just blabber or point accusing fingers, he is here to help because he cares about you and wants you to look good.. This is just a short article and summary. So, Why Do We Snore?

According to huffingpost

Snoring happens when you can't move air freely through your nose and throat during sleep. This makes the surrounding tissues vibrate, which produces the familiar snoring sound. People who snore often have too much throat and nasal tissue or “floppy” tissue that is more prone to vibrate.

What Can Possibly Cause You To Snore?

Stress __________________________(my breathing techniques should help with this one)
Lack of adequate sleep _____________(And they say money doesn't sleep)
Poor sleeping position
Blocked nasal passages etc

And the annoying thing is that people that snore are the first to fall asleep

Well basically, the only thing I do is just to wake up and tie her mouth!!

I have a friend that starts snoring within two minutes of sleeping

Lol... That's almost entirely true for everyone who snores. I just moved in to a new location and mehn... It's tough here. It's a compound with two houses joined together, the landlord's and mine... I practically can't sleep during most nights as the man snores incredibly loud. It's as though his throat is grinding and tryna forcefully force air out through his mouth.


I do believe that some are diseases though. A guy in my sec school had an issue with this only that it was a disease. He snore audibly too

When I was still in school, I accommodated a guy during his post UME and when he guy started snoring, I had to leave my room at 1am and headed to my friend's place to crash. Meanwhile, my friend's place is a bit far ooo but I had to take the risk just because I couldn't cope with the way the guy dey sound ooo

What I do when I'm close by someone who is snoring is that I push his bed shakily or if I can't, I throw a pillow at him and quickly feign sleep, he wakes up, turns around and look for who might have done that, seeing that I am fast asleep, he arranges himself and sleep too. That gives me barely enough time to fall asleep but it is still manageable. Also, I make sure I don't drink too much water so as not to wake during the night to urinate and meet that scenario, thereby starting all over again.

I'm not wicked o! I practically can't fall asleep when people are snoring. It's either I get up and leave or I do something about it.

Almost everyone snores and its always difficult for everyone around..
