i m trying to understand gbemiga's crime...at such a young age with such an oppurtunity to further his studies?the families dislike for bukky tho very bad due to the sistas attitudes but from the fathers point it has more to do with logical reasoning...he felt he could b a drag on the son,,tho bukky's casr turned out differebtly,most times its the other way round...he made a first class...it shows his dedication n decision making except for 'raping' bukky has bn excellent

Even if Chike and Bukky doesn't end up together, the fact remains that it was he who made illiteracy become an history in Bukky's life, something Gbemiga didn't do. Even if she will later be literate it wouldn't be as fast as this. Gbemiga may be a good man but his parents and sisters are gullible. I really do hope Bukky and Chike get married because I don't think the Phillips will ever accept Bukky no matter how successful she may become in future. Whatsoever that happens I just wish for Bukky to be a better person. God bless you Shewrites for this work.

OK Bukky bought him a fone and sent him money a couple of times while he was at school, n u want him to give up his dream coz of DAT, let's b logical here n put ur self in d guy's position, so making it look like Bukky gave him d world n made sacrifice s for him coz she dint, am not saying he didn't f up, BT I tink I d 8 him if he led Bukky on behind his parents n at d end of d day dump ha, as a matter of fact Bukky should b grateful he dumped her.

But then it's a story, serves a lesson for people of both sex. Many girls have been sponsored by their illiterate boyfriend, only for them to sing a different tone of their family not accepting him because he's illiterate bla bla bla, same with girls that have stood by their boyfriend through thick and thin only for them to be dumped because one stupid reason or the other.
Who ever is yours, will stand by you through thick and thin.
