Well you need your blocked account opening to be given a visa date. Go to Fintiba, apply for a blocked account, and wait 3 working days to be given a confirmation of account opening. Send that, along with your admission letter and passport data page, to the German embassy and you'll be given a date, provided your enrolment deadline is still far.
thanks dobeespen, please can u give me Fintiba's website? Also do I need to make d deposit or jst d confirmation of account opening that I need to apply for visa

My status shows that they've sent my docs electronically to the school...the mail came with just one attachment and that was just the normal one informing me that my docs has been forwarded to the school.
GermanDreamer:
so has your account status changed to forwarded and when did it change? even if you didnt get the mail,if bothered, you can use the contact form to communicate them that you want the e-copy of the result. they do also send the original evaluation report via post-mail to the residential address you gave them on your application. it normal gets delivered by NIPOST so keep an eye.. answer me sha, got mine concluded on the 3rd of july but they have not forwarded it, so have they for yours?(did the mail come with an attachment, if yes,it does contain the report)

I applied at Akoka, though had my program at Idi-Araba. I sent it to my Dept, then picked it up from the Secretary. Certified at a Notary Public close to Ikeja High Court

Thanks

Yes, that's what they tell everyone. So I decided to send it to my work place, it was allowed as long as it was not address to my name. So just request for it to be sent any organisation you can easily get it from.

Thanks

Good day,

I got a couple of questions to ask

1. Is it possible to become proficient in German (up to A2 or B1) under four (4) months of German class?
2. Which German language school would be excellent to study the language in Germany?

Cheers

Very possible, get yourself a competent private language teacher for Monday to Friday intensive tutoring. Will most likely cost twice as more than wasting your time in Goethe.

thank you and also going for a PGD does not help as equivalent to study masters right? i am trying to weigh my options and see how i can go about it or go for a HND conversion in a private school.

considering the time and cost for HND conversion, i decided to just go for a fresh BSC in Germany, at least that will give me more time to settle in Germany while getting my Bsc (shebi you know, things aint stable in Nigeria).... and you will also have to be paying exorbitantly for the HND conversion?

Forget PGD and HND conversion.... if to say i don start the BSC since when i finish for Yabatech, i for don even enroll for Msc... but i was also have this confusion you were having...

Secondly, this one that some states are already accepting tuition in Germany, you better come do wetin you go do comot before all states go wan dey accept tuition... grin

From experience of others so far, the Embassy permits you to hand over the account confirmation details at interview time, then you can go ahead to fund the account after interview. The earlier the better. But If you can fund before Interview, then there are chances your visa processing time will be shorter than the guy who didnt fund.

You copy?

What are you talking about? I didn't say anatomy doesn't excited as a course but Unilag doesn't offer a Bachelor's in anatomy even if other school does.

well this person might have finished with MSc Anatomy, which is what is offered, but I guess I concluded for him that he wasn't pursing a double masters degree

Whatever! I was only excited he/ she might be a fellow I know from school.
I come in peace bro cheesy
I finished from Lag too

I was only trying to refer you to the above boldened.

Sorry what I said came off bad to you

Your sponsor has to meet the immigration office (ausländerbehörde) in the city where he is living. The document is called Verpflichtungserklärung and your sponsor has to show proof of income and his housing contract. Besides he must be a German or have a German residence permit. The fee is around 25 euro. After getting the document I think he will have to send the original to you so you can show it to the embassy. Good luck

you can also get verpflitchtungserklarung
rung from german embassy in abuja or lagos

Presently my passport is not with me i think opening the account online will be better instead of going to embassy because they may request to see my passport even though I have the scan copy. I need good advice please

If you want to make do with Fintiba, you will as well need your passport because you need to provide selfie (holding your passport beside your face)

Yes. If you're close to Ife. I would advise you come to E-square. That's where I'm learning presently.
