Hello everyone,
If a school doesn't request English Language test (IELTS / TOEFL) for admission, Will one need to provide it (IELTS /TOEFL) before getting visa?

Show a relationship btw your mom and your step dad using a court affidavit then let him explain in his sponsorship letter that he is willing to sponsor you and all, you could also tell him to put some money in your account and you submit your bank statement, so it shows as a strong indication of his willingness to sponsor you

Congrats Sisi. It's been a good Friday so far. Lots of grants received today. It would be nice if those of us going to Sydney could get to know. Probably exchange contacts and pick it up from there.

Delays from my own personal experience could be the fault of Naija companies not confirming a document in time for the embassy. In my case, it took my bank over 30 days to confirm the fixed deposit letter I submitted. My visa was granted a week after they confirmed it. So do your research as led by the spirit...

No SOA, No contact by CO

God will surely make way for those still awaiting theirs.

Like really? No SOA how come? Did they ask for english test results, I am assuming Macquarie waived the english test for you also. Congrats again...you should be able to make orientation...nice one.

Gurus in here, I have some questions please:

After considering location of school, job availability, what are those things i still need to consider when choosing an Australian university for study? I don't want to make a mistake in choosing.

Aside Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, what other locations can you advise for good job opportunities for international students?

Can someone tell me about AL1, AL2.... What does it means?

How much do top ranked Australian universities admit Nigerians, i mean University of Sydney, western Australia, new south Wales and Queensland etc...
I would be glad to hear from you Gurus.....

Thanks

Nigerians wan finish UNSW, over 90% of students that get visa using UNSW change school on arrival, sacrificing part of the initial payment

Why are Nigerians changing school after reaching Australia?

Any reason for this bro. How easy is it to gain admission to UNSW, i think it's number 1 in Australia.

Also what can you say about Uni of Melbourne, western Australia , queensland, UNSW, for MSc Biotechnology or Microbiology?

You'll also need to consider the cost of living in that city.

Job opportunities are basically in the cities u mentioned. Including perth. The average student wld get a part time job in most cities, the only difference is how fast u get it.

Abt AL1 & AL2, I basically know AL1 schools like RMIT, macquarie and others do not request for SOA, english test and some other docs. But things seem to be changing now as the embassy has been requesting for these documents of recent from AL1 schools.

You need to do more research to enlighten yourself on these things. Cos most people here wouldn't have the time to answer these fundamental questions.
