the simple truth is that most graduates will have to be taught how to apply for jobs, and the best way to arrange their resumes and cover letters for job applications. I know several intelligent peeps that had no idea of these little but important things until I told them. They don't even know email etiquette and the likes. Most graduates are in the dark concerning these things, and the sad part is that some don't even know that they don't know

My cousin got a job in a small telecom firm through one of the adverts here: the pay was below 50k. He endured a lot (insults & all) on the job for about a year and applied for another vacancy advertised here too. Turns out, it was GLO and his 1 year experience was super useful when he met Mike Adenuga in his final interview.

The rest is history, as they say.

Then again, my sister got a job through an advert here too. One of the leading agricultural & health firms in Nigeria.
