What do you do if all your wife does is to nag whenever you tell her you don't have enough cash?

A friend always complains to me about his wife. This guy pays rent of N1m; gives the wife monthly pocket money; set up a mini-biz for her, caters for the baby, pays for foodstuff for about N60k monthly. But when it comes to my guy saying he doesn't have enough, for instance, to give her for stew all he receives is nagging after coming back from work. If this guy doesn't give her enough allowance, she would change mood. It's looking like all she wants is MONEY. She keeps saying she doesn't get enough money from the mini-biz she does.

Please advise.

The fact that she's nagging when things are a bit okay shows the kind of woman she is, what if things get bad? These are the type of em that run away from home to go shagging rich men.

Firstly , why is a grown ass woman getting pocket money ? Is she his daughter?. As a couple you should be handling the finances of the home together , this way no one will think money falls from the sky. You plan with what you have together, when there's less money then you both understand and tighten up your belts and find ways together to bring in more money.

If you marry a woman who expects you to do everything for her , without her lifting a finger then you have no one else to blame buy yourself.

He must be one of those who used money to toast their babes. Now she feels like she's entitled to it.

The worst thing a guy can ever do is what I just stated above. That's just the way they are.

If you doubt it, just do a personal research on that. Not secondary research o, but primary research (where you run some sort of pseudo relationships with random girls. But don't let them know that you're just using them for experiments o. ).

You're right. It's the man's fault.

He probably has given her the entitlement mentality. That's the worst thing a man can ever give a woman.

If she's not making money from her business, she should go get a job

Business is not for everyone.
Hope the man in question also has savings. Cut your coat according to your cloth.
He can move to a cheaper apartment, and tone down his lifestyle so he can save and start building his own house.
He should ask the wife to also tone down, and instead of eating all the time, go on a healthy diet to include vegetables, less of meat and offals, less of carbohydrates.

To be honest, I don't understand this pocket money thing, especially for a woman who's not in school full time. Even some of those in school full time are hustling legitimately. I just don't gerrit.

Unless of course the OP requested his wife not to work. If you ask her not to work, then be ready to supply all her needs and all the needs she would have met for her own extended family.

The problem is expectations or standards. Ordinary, a woman can't sit and decide out of the blue what you are giving her is small.. A benchmark must have fueled this thought. the benchmark may come from a friend whose husband was able to give more as compared to what your wife gets.
I am not saying your wife should not have friend o. Use wisdom now before a better man that will give her more comes knocking. love your wife unconditionally, give her more if she deserves it or cut off the source of benchmark.

These are things that should be cleared before you get married. What role is each of you going to play in your relationship and how will this be done. More than anything, transparency is important so that you can both be on the same page about your finances and other things.

The problem is that some men prefer to have subordinates as wives and not full partners and they are usually the first to complain when the woman acts like a liability than an asset .

You guys reward bad behaviour and you think you are being "a man". What you are doing is turning women everywhere to unsatisfiable, ungrateful deities you worship.
