".... and please we all should learn to always depend on God and cast our cares on him. that will be all for tonight's service hope we've all been blessed "! The church members shouted a" yeah! " and they all stood up, as they all said an " amen" to their pastor's closing prayer after which they all dispersed.
"hey pastor Wilson that was a great sermon". a smallish fair lady said, and stood in front of him obviously trying to impress him.
"ah thks Kate we bless God for that so how are you doing "? Wilson smiled at her and was hoping she would just hurry up with whatever she has to say. He watched as she giggled at the end of every statement she made causing her busty chest to shake in a seductive manner, Kate is extremely beautiful and her fair skin shone through her cloth. the yellow cotton top she wore didn't help matters as her cleavage was on the show. Wilson groaned inwardly, they had slept together in the past when he was just the Bible study secretary and it was just once he had spent hours in the bathroom scrubbing his sins away but now he was sure God has forgiven him. even though he still feels something for her but he felt she wasn't for him even though it's obvious she still likes him. He sighed, he wondered how she will feel when she realises that he is about to get married.
"you don't always pick your call" she pouted her painted red lips.
"yeah, am so sorry it's because am always busy" he shrugged, he wasn't always busy, he was just try to stop the past from repeating itself again after all the bible says

His eyes darted towards the other side of the church in search of MO. he had asked her to come and know their new church to be, and plus she would soon be the pastor's wife. He waved at her as she left the pastor she was chatting with and started walking towards him and Kate. He smiled to himself atleast he made the right choice, simple, beautiful, intelligent but one thing she lacked. She wasn't Godly, he shook his head and he wasn't sure of how to go about it yet cause she's still clearly wallowing in sin.
"hey, sweetheart.... hi good evening" she turned to Kate who in turn smiled slightly.

" shoemaker.... I know". He knew there was something wrong with Kate and he also saw the questioning look on Mo's face. He hoped Kate wouldn't tell her anything as he didn't tell MO about her and he didn't intend to cause he still wants her to see him as Mr perfect.

" well, no am not but when I get married I will surely be" she laughed, trying to be nice to sister Kate.
"well, didn't he tell you the rules? Not a worker no marriage ". MO laughed, and noded her.

"ohh, I forgot you ain't even a member" Mo's smile faded, she wondered what the fair lady was driving at as she kept talking on and on about celebrities not attending church and so full of sin.

" oh, blood of Jesus christ, wils? You left me for this sinner! after all we shared! Oh gosh! I honestly don't wish you well in your marriage! and I will quit this church! " she stamped her foot and rushed out. MO blinked, she has just been insulted! thank God there was were just some few people in the church. God knows she would have slapped her if she was still with them and to worsen the case Wilson stood there watching her been insulted.
"MO please meet me in the car, let me sort things out " with that he marched off after Kate, leaving his fiance behind. MO gave a short laugh. She couldn't just wrap her head around what just happened. Then she rushed outside to meet up with Wilson.
She met him outside with the fair lady, trying to hold her by the hand and he whispered something to her and then she noded and left while he started walking towards her.
"so what was that about?" she asked causing him to pause as if looking for what to say.
"MO please let me have some peace and quietness, we will talk about it some other time ".
" oh, really? you didn't even apologize for from your lover's insult...... Oh yea! you think I won't know that u've been shagging her? Huh? " his eyes widened, he curled his first how would she talk him like that with no respect.
" you are so rude and disrespectful, and immature, I think you need to learn that before you become my wife! moreover Kate isn't my lover"! He looked around, and thanked God they were in the parking lot and there was nobody there.
"really! Wow that means am not good enough for you right! and who are you lieing to that she's not your lover, you even went after her to explain what! " MO was mad, she couldn't bear been cheated on again, was she not good enough?
" look baby, just get inside we will talk about this at home". With that he entered his car and reversed hoping she would join him but she stood rooted on the spot.
"you ain't coming with me?.... MO you take things too personal gosh! " and he drove off. She was heart broken, how could a guy be so cold and uncaring, at this time of the night. She shook her head, atleast it was just 8:30pm. She patted the Jean trouser she was putting and brought out her phone from the back pocket, she dialed Ethan's number.
"hello" a feminine voice picked. she checked the number she dialed again and suddenly felt angry.
"hey, MO hi sorry your call was picked by my sister "
" oh... Okay please come pick me up. at vineyard church " although she wasn't too pleased with what he said, she still continued to feel angry.
"... Okay, I hope there is no problem?.. I will be right there in a jiffy" she ended the call. She didn't want to call him at first as they have not really been on talking terms since he picked her call the other day, but Wilson had made her to make this call. she will make Wilson pay she swore.

Chioma took the last picture as a proof that she was really abused by her husband. She had even asked one of the nurses taking care of her if she snapped her while she was in coma but the nurse had shook her head that she didn't. She had even gone ahead to invite a human rights activist for an interview as well as a known feminist for an interview she would deal with Dike and make sure she sues him to court and drain him to the last drop of his blood. She had cried when she woke up from coma days after that, the doctor had broken a bad news to her, of her womb been evacuated to save her life, one of the twins had died and the other was still in the incubator. She raised her hand towards heaven and cried to God, hoping he would save her child. She heard the door open and thought it was her mother, the poor woman had been taking care of her since all these happened.
"baby chi.... am so sorry please my baby have mercy on me. am now a changed man please baby am sorry" Dike went on his knees begging his wife. He needed to save his marriage especially now that he wants to quit acting and is currently running for a senatorial post. She eyed him, and continued post the pictures of her battered self and her story online so that others could learn from her.
"please baby chi, say something. am happy our child is alive and we will still Make more". She looked at him with tears in her eyes, did he just say make more? and how exactly will she carry them? She bit her lips, she hated the man standing right before her as she summoned the nurse with all her strength
"get this man out of here!!! " he was confused, his chioma had turn heartless? The nurses tried talking to him to get him out.
" oga please leave! " the nurse said and gestured towards the door.
" okay I will leave but chi, don't tell anyone about this please let's resolve it between us, you know my image will be tarnished".
"I said get out! " with that, he quickly left. She cried afresh, so all he was concerned about was his image but not how he has wounded and broken her, she cried wishing she never met him.
The nurses scampered to back to their post at the reception, and began to talk in low tones :

Truly everyone has their own problem speaking of which, she remembered how shocked she was when Ethan had kissed her. She closed her eyes trying to picture the moment. OMG the guy is a good kisser and he really sent sparks into her brain and made her forget what her fiance did to her. She quickly opened her eyes, she was cheating on her fiance. She whispered to herself, they just had a misunderstanding and she would settle it afterall he has been calling her since yesterday. She rushed to the bathroom to freshen up.
"hey my man how you dey nw" Ethan shook the gate keeper as he entered the gate. His heart started beating fast as he entered the parlour. He was happy he didn't meet her there. He didn't intend to kiss her that night but after he dropped her at home and had gone to her room to drop her car key. He met her crying and they had kissed passionately almost ripping each other's clothes off and her phone had interrupted them. He smiled to himself, atleast he would soon have her all to himself and she won't have to cry anymore.
"oh.. hi" she waved at him and sat on the sofa, Her heart fluttered as he sat close to her. He looked even more handsome in the native shirt he was wearing make his broad chest more broader. One thing she liked him for was his great fashion taste and lovely designers shirt he wore and he told her he designed them himself. She had even adviced him to start fashion designing.
"ah.. Congrats on your new endorsement with KYLE wears. He is like one of the greatest fashion designers world wide" she stared at him for the first time that morning and her heart quickly did somersaults.
"how did you know about it?.... Ohh I posted it online. Yeah I love KYLE wears and his designs her fab. You have no idea how happy I was when I was named as one of their ambassador ". He stared at her, not interested in what she was saying, he wanted to just kiss her again, so she could come back to her senses cause it looked as if she isn't.

" ohh okay, I will think about that". He held her close and claimed her lips with his, it was slowly and passionate, she groaned and suddenly broke the kiss. She stood up and raised her hand.
"look there's nothing between us okay? and this should be the last time this will ever happen okay... Look am engaged for God sake! " he was sad and hurt, he stood up and tried talking.
" wow.... so you don't feel anything at all? "
" what sort of question is that? I am still your boss okay! "
" MO... I love you. Seriously. I took this job because I love you ". Her eyes widened, she didn't understand what he was saying she wanted to talk back but was startled by Wilson's presence.
" have been calling you, where did you keep your phone? and why is your driver in your sitting room! " she opened her mouth to talk but was cut short by Ethan.
" and that's because she's a nice person with a great personality and doesn't treat people like animals or leave people out in the cold like you! " Wilson scoffed and gritted his teeth. He was going to deal with this guy here and now as he raised his hands to deal with him.

" yes, I regret it. I regret ever lieing to the public about been a victim of domestic violence. Honorable never raised his hands on me for once. but because he turned my children against me and froze my account that was why I did that ". She sniffed her nose and wished to turn back the hands of time, she would have stop all those fake news she was spreading all in the name of tarnishing her husband's image but instead it turned her kids against her as they don't want to ha anything to do with their lieing mother, Ebun my life is a complete mess.
"it's okay Sassy, you need to surrender your life to christ, yes... It's only him that can mend your broken heart, give you all the joy and happiness you want and also give you self control. and in him alone will you be complete okay? Would you like to give your life to him? " she noded as Ebun held her hands and they prayed. She felt peace for once and was rest assured that everything would be alright.
