FBNH are not serious. Yet to pay dividends and bonus of 2015 FYE to shareholders.

I think it is high time we invoked SEC on FBNH.

I have received my 2015 & 2016 FYE FBNH dividend. Fill the e-dividend form, post it to First registrar via courier they will pay you.

FBNH did not give BONUS shares for FYE 2015, its in FYE 2014 that they gave 1 for 10 bonus.

Hope you are not confusing FYE with the year they declared dividend and bonus.

I have not seen mine. Probably, there is selective payment. I have done eDiv and it is with them. I know this because my dried bones shares with Firstregistrars have been approved by NIBSS but my living stocks are not approved and dividends are not paid. I check my PO box every week. Nothing.

Oga if you are really sure of the number of shares you had before the bonus were given...And also sure your broker has not done anything funny then ask your broker to send you CSCS statement. Even if it is not added to your share account with your broker it will be in your CSCS account.

greetings to all the winners in the house.

read this article today about MOBIL - NIPCO deal on easykobo.

please whats your take on this?

[b]July 13 (Lagos) - Stock of Mobil Oil Nigeria ( MOBIL ) rose almost 10% today at the Nigerian Stock Exchange in Lagos as NIPCO recently extended the offer to buy minority shareholders holdings at levels just below N 420 per unit.

The stock rose to N 259 per unit today at the exchange.

But it is still surprising that the stock continues to trade at levels sharply below the level at which NIPCO acquired the majority shares of MOBIL which was around the N 420 per unit levels.

In more developed stock markets, the moment it is announced that the deal was happening at levels above N 400 per unit the stock price would have jumped to those levels. In fact if such a deal happens, investors would quickly buy into the stock to make a short term gain from the deal.

That did not happen at the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

What do you think are the reasons for this anomaly? or are we just expecting a bit too much as regard to fair play for minority investors in MOBIL and we should know better?

So it is possible for a Private Company to acquire a public listed Company in Nigeria by buying shares at a much higher level than they are trading at the exchange in a private deal and such a deal would have no positive effect on the price of that stock on the floor of the exchange.

Everyday is a learning experience.

The qualification date for the Mandatory Takeover Bid remains April 10, 2O17. Hence it is only those whose names appear on the register on the said date that can sell to NIPCO.

Technically, NIPCO started the TO (take-over) pursuit of Mobil a while back when the $ - N rates were still within fair value of N200 - N250, so negate the tactical devaluation of the naira, NIPCO is still buying Mobil at the price it is trading.

Please, the recent surge in volume of Niger Insurance. Any reason behind that? I bought years back with, so far, only dividend as profit.
