Next time when ask "who Is sponsoring you?" just tell them you got funding from the school... some don't check the i20 to see if you got funding from the school or not except you tell them

In your case it appears the Vo did not notice you had funding as some do not check the i20 . So you
need to say it loudly and proudly when asked who is sponsoring you

Good morning guys, I'm processing admission for my younger brother, the school required application fee to be paid through credit card only, I need to know if I can make this payment with my naira master card, if yes, which bank is the best to do this with?

If you have GTB, you are good to go; however, virtually all banks are ok.

It depends on the bank rate, gtb's rate is currently 374 to a dollar while Access' is 375 to a dollar.

Happy for all getting their visas approved. Mine is tomorrow at the Lagos consulate. This will be a second trial after a failed attempt in Abuja.
The little problem is I filled in 'no' unknowingly for the question of if I had been denied visa before. Hope it won't count against me. How can I defend myself if it comes up.
Going for a master in theological study. Any tip would do.
Would have posted my transcript but I couldn't log in not until today, but I have been making up by following the thread keenly.

Congrats to those whose Visa has been approved.
I guess 98% of these success stories are emanating from Lagos Consulate.

Abuja is brutal at the moment.
The middle -aged white man.. .hmmmmh.

I did mine with my FCMB card but you can also use GTB, Access bank. those are the banks am very sure off..

Nna eh! I would really pick Lagos over and over again. I'm beginning to think while Lagos looks for a reason to approve you, Abuja looks for half a reason to deny people. That said, if ALL parts of your application is spot on, you'd probably not have a problem in Abuja.

After carefully researching about schs based on many criteria, one of them is Texas state university, I have not seen anyone here apply to this sch, so I want to ask if this school is safe especially for interview at the embassy because it is one of the schools I am considering.

Also if u school there or applied or u know som1 there, please describe wat its like schooling there.

Good morning house. I got a conditional admission for a master of social work program into a university in the US (pending english proficiency) and the I-20 says i will be enrolling in English language class before registering for my masters degree courses. However, I have taken the Toefel exam already and passed. I will like to know if it is advisable for me to present my Tofel result to the visa officer at my interview or to go ahead and give the impression that i will be taking english class first before starting my masters courses.

My interview went well until the white guy asked for my undergraduate transcript. I told him I didn't come along with it but it was sent to my school in the US.
The guy no gree hear anything else and was like " I see academic transcript here everyday. "
Next is 214b.
Felt really bad.

I am really sorry for the delay. I think you do your best to get an unofficial copy from your school, or order a copy if you evaluated. Just get it before you reappear for an interview. All the best.
