In recent years, social media have taken our societies by storm. It is hard to do anythiny without social media and the internet.
Many can now share information and ideas with people in distance locations because of the unique ability of the internet to connect people together.

Thus, people now build strange but fascinating friendships with strangers, which sometimes develop into strong feelings and falling in love

However, a number of heartbreaks have been reported in the past because people are not often who they potray themselves to be on the internet. Some even loose their lifes or resources in the process of finding cyber love

So what do you think , is it safe to still fall in love with a stranger on the internet

before the inception of internet,people use letters to communicate and it works even without seeing each other.

Do majority of youth today really abstain from sex? Should we advocate safe sex instead?

Sexual abstinence a choice to not take part in any genital contact. The choice of sexual abstinence is made by people for several reasons. Some people do it for spiritual reasons, others may choose to abstain from sex because of high moral standards.

In Africa, where having high moral standards is a source of pride and diginity, total abstainace from sex before marriage seen by many as absolute necessity.
In addition, many people claim that abstinence is a comfortable way to stay clear of sexually transmitted diseases like HIV and Aids among others. Therefore, many parents and leaders in African society are fond of preaching total abstinence to young people


However, in reality very few people actually pratice total abstainace. Many of the youth go about having sexual intercourse with their friends. Some may even contact deadly sexual diseases that may require urgent attention, but may decline to disclose this in public for the fear of being victimized. As a consequence of this, a lot of the youth in African continent die of sexualy transmitted diseases.


So, is it time to do away with our mentality about sex in Africa? It is it time to preach save sex rather than total abstainace?

Well, I can't explain it to you. But I think its d best avenue introverted or shy people seek love these days. Minus the evil that comes with it though

Cyber love is mostly borne out of infatuation that can later be transformed into true love

It's true..
Though now it's been taken as a means to perpetuate evil, but not withstanding that ,cyber love is true...
It definitely can't work for everybody, some have had it sweet while others bitter....
But just because someone had a bad experience about cuber love, you feel yours will likely be same......

If it's for real go for it but use your head......if it doesn't work out it all part of life experience
