Coolcash1:It is more comfortable to leave your fingers in a blacksmith's furnace and go to bed than to leave your cash in Oando and take a nap or even blink. But candidly, this is another opportunity loading. Just stay with the charts... ![]() Oando is a mystery child. NB: I am not yet here and had never had guts to dine with the great white sharks here. Oando = Emotions. |

soloniger: ...Don't mind me. Sometimes if you think how Wale has been getting away with things he does. You wonder what market regulators are paid for? |

DeRuggedProf:lol. Oando = sleeplessness, vigillance and heart-ache. Its really saddening to see pple trapped here but nonetheless, Oando is indeed one mystery stock that will always find its way in the midst of the stormy sea. I just believed this storm will be over much lesser than we expected. There's no need for anyone to over-create any fear because the market has a mind of its own irrespective of any analysis anyone is digging and coming up with. As we speak, some pple are busy monitoring the situation of things and sharpening their cutlasses to make a kill. All is well. |

locodemy:Even with that life still continues! Is it today that Oando saga started? Why has the regulatory authority not done anything about it? Are we saying they're just getting to know this one they are bringing up now? Well, I just dont fancy all the panics been created here and there. Now, whats happened is happened, what can anyone do about it than to allow the powers that be play out their politics. We can only pray and wish for safe landing. On a lighter note, Loco, if you were to be in Oando ship you would have been defending it up and down the thread inspite of all the analysis being presented. Anyway, this is one of the risks associated with investing. Its a learning point. |

There had been reports that the Ministry of Petroleum Resources planned to concession the refinery to AGIP/ENI and Oando Plc. Consequently, the Senate in May set up the seven-member ad-hoc committee to probe the issue, especially with the allegation that $15 billion was involved in the concession process. At the hearing, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, debunked the claims, saying there was no such plan. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/business-news/236863-no-concession-port-harcourt-refinery-kachikwu-says.html More trouble for OANDO. Fair Entry price is N1:80k |

STNWAUME:The market may likely surprise you as Oando shares will be scrambled for immediately it is between N4 - N5. Forget about the massive offer you see now, so many are waiting to cash in at that entry price. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by STNWAUME(m): 9:58am On Jul 18, 2017 |
kolaish:Probably you don't know the gravity of their offence. BOOK COOKING is the worst offence any public liability company can commit. If it's in a sane society by now Wale and coy will be in detention while the external auditors are doing their job. It's this same offence that sent OCEANIC, INTERCONTINENTAL and their likes to Golgotha. Don't think it will be business as usual with all their sugarcoated forward looking statements. If at all OANDO will as a brand ever survives this their shareholders funds will be badly depleted which will lead to share reconstruction and right issue. |

STNWAUME:Yes, you are right, but remember you said in a sane society, which I think Nigeria is not (with due respect to all, but that is the reality). You will see the way Oando will dance out of this. Skye is still there breathing fresh air, is it Oando that is full of tricks and dirty politicking. Watch out as they may likely still be allowed to carry on with the PH refinery concessioning/repairs. |

kolaish:Exactly. Did anybody see what's happening this morning? What we should know is that if Oando goes down Wale's investment/money goes down ad well, a situation I believe he and his cohorts would fight against with all they have. Oando will weather this storm and still come out of it as it usually does. Disclaimer: I dont have a single unit of it now but hope to get at bargain price. |
