God, why do women say this to other women. Love him more for telling you? Like he deserves some kind of award for confessing and lightening his conscience.

So what do you want her to say? To hate him more. Moreover, the lady in question didn't say mama here should analyze for her. She just wanted advise but all I see here is analysis of what and what the husband may or may not think of her. No marriage is perfect. It is well with us oh@Yesitsme debbydominic

Thank you Naomi. For the hair fancy, it depends if you baby has plenty/full hair. If she does, you can start parting earlier than five months especially if you are having difficulties combing it. You don't hold it tight o. Loose enough that it can even fall off by itself. Remember to part that soft part of the scalp together so air will not enter. That is, let the "kobo" parting go around it

good evening mamas. pls help a troubled first time mum. my baby is a week + old but cannot latch verywell .initially,he was able to latch without difficulties until he had colic which I believe is gone now..he is no longer able to latch, whenever I put him to my breast,he takes the nipple in but is not able to suck hard.then he starts crying until I express and feed him from a cup because he will keep crying so hard and I can't bear to see him cry like that cause of hunger .someone said I shouldn't let him go hungry for long before feeding I have tried it and he still cries as he is not able to suck hard. I am worried that he might get used to cup and spoon and not be able to latch later in the future except from a cup and spoon. I have enough milk supply,my nipple is also soft and pointed.I need help on how to make him suck. I have browsed the internet and tried all possible solutions all to no avail. I need to establish breastfeeding again

Have you checked for tongue tie? Maintain you supply by expressing consistently, give expressed milk first and offer breast afterwards. Sabi mamas should please chook mouth. I'm not too experienced in these BF tins.

Someone gifted us a pair of foreign pampers pull up. Before we used it for 2 weeks it gave us severe big big rashes. I have discontinued the pampers but the rashes r stubborn.majority of them have refused to resolve.
We used shea butter, zinc n castor oil cream, baking soda in warm bath.
Some have gone.the rest is still there.
We change every 4hours wet or not.change poo immediately and also use cloth diapers.

Please smeone said i should try vista cream.its antifugal cream like skineal.pls is it advisable for babies.

Pls dont read n pass. Save my baby fine bumbum

My baby has been so extra since last night. I wonder if she's teething and if this is how I'd be suffering whenever she grows a new tooth. She's so cranky and keeps fighting sleep.

Last night hubby tried to put her to sleep at the same time he does every night but it just wasn't working. He tried all his methods, even brought out rocker all to no avail. At some point I had to pity him and take over cuz it was almost midnight and he had work in the morning. Finally took her to the living room and kept walking in circles for what seemed like eternity before she was finally defeated.

Took her back into the bedroom and put her in her cot. Hubby was sprawled diagonally across the bed, passed out. I woke him to lie down well so that I can lie down, and as soon as he got up, he picked up one folded wrapper that was lying on the bed, threw it up twice and caught it, then hugged it cheesy cheesy that's what he does with the baby so I believe he thought he was holding her cheesy. I laughed until I almost cried then I collected the wrapper baby and told him to go back to sleep that the baby is asleep lol. This child would not drive somebody crazy.

Anyway what could be the cause of this extra crankiness, it can't be another growth spurt so soon unless she's trying to become a giant cheesy. She just turned 3 months btw, could it be teething.

Hahahahahah.....had similar experience with hubby. He got really exhausted with the newborn baby that each time the baby cries he will think the baby is sleeping on the bed with him and then start patting my bom as if to say "baby stop crying"

Well I have been using the ergo 360 baby carrier since he was 6 days old. I got it for about £130. Sincerely I can tell you that since I have being using it I never had back arch or shoulder pains. Even if you want to use any carrier that is cheaper please always go for the one that your baby's leg will be in a frog leg like shape when wearing it, this must be so because of his hips. Another thing to look out for is that the shoulders should be padded to avoid pain and also go for one with waist pads and other features to straighten your back. Please note that good carriers don't make you bend your back when you carry your baby rather your back will be straight.

Depends on you. Sling carriers are really just wrapper in Oyinbo clothing and can be tricky to maneuver. A good carrier should spread baby's legs and make them sit. I think mostly Chicco and Infantino brands are available in Nigeria.

Yesterday, I heard the most ignorant nonsense in the whole world, from some "experienced" mothers and I think we should all be careful about how we take advice from anyone (myself included). So, the blog will have a new feature: "I AM A... ASK ME ANYTHING!".

I will be asking some experienced child professionals about questions that pop up often. And the great part is, you get to submit the questions. And these people, they are not just Doctors and Nurses (some are Specialists that are hard to find in Nigeria in their fields), they are parents. So they won't just be giving you textbook answers but what works for them.

So stay tuned, I'll be announcing the first specialist and the format of the questions to be submitted smiley
