At last reasons have been given by the “constituted authorities” for the plight of Mr. Kayode Bello. I waited to hear the “usual” suspects which the “constituted authorities” usually trot out in cases like this to justify their high hhandeness, such as exam malpractice, criminal misconduct, cultism etc; but none of these were bandied, and with good reason. You see, if Mr Kayode Bello had been guilty of any of the aforementioned offences, his legal education would have been nipped in the bud, long before his right to it could become the subject of front page news and social media discourse, as it has now. The message from the Nigerian legal education system couldn’t have been louder and clearer if the DG of the Nigerian Lawschool had shouted it from the rooftop with a megaphone: Lawyers are to be turned out like cars on an assembly line. In other words, mass production. No distinguishing attributes, no diversity in temperament will be countenanced or tolerated. All are expected to be docile, meek and pro-establishment. If you’re a budding “activist”, learn how to curb your basic instincts, at least until after you’ve eaten the law dinner and received your professional certification. One wonders how the likes of Gani Fawehinmi , Femi Falana and Olisa Agbakoba fared under such “lenient” strictures. |

There are 3 sides to this story.... Your side, their side, and the truth. This Kayode guy looks like a fairer version of Airforce1 |

Meanwhile, I read it all. It all reeks of sheer victimization of someone who can not be subdued by a corrupt and wicked system. They are hell bent on destroying this young man. I was in Ui in 2008 when this said protest broke out on fee hike. A guy called Plato was the one at the forefront of this protest, and for the first time the University refunded 2k to all students, a deserved dividend for speaking out and not being like zombies. Kay Bello was never an active person in the protest Just imagine what this guy has been through for having guts. The power that be just want to jeopardise the career of this bright young man for standing up to his right, they can't handle him because he's not like the zombie graduates they are used to dealing with.It is now a sin to be an activist in school. Such a show of shame from authorities. I hope heavens will help you out Kay Bello and put all your detractors to shame. |

Such tiki-taka-esque modus operandi employed by these two parties is making me sad. I'm patiently waiting for the return pass from the authorities... Pathetic!!! |®le D.U. |

You stroy isn't complete. It is as if you are trying to tell the truth by half. NLS said the reason for dispensing with you was that of the unnecesarry altercation with a female colleague which they tried resolving amicably but you keep misbehaving. This is the part i expect you to clarify. Your pre and post NLS saga should be a story for another day. |
