Imagine Atiku and some state governors talking about restructuring. The greatest showboat, Fayose, is worth billions while Ekiti is slinking down deeper into the quagmire and rot of his antecedents and kleptomania.

FFK, the most racist, tribalist, combative, foul-mouthed, and sectarian public figure there ever is has been busy trying to fan the embers of hate, and yet some people believe he's talking about justice and fairplay.

Nnamdi Kanu, a maniacal demagogue with visions of his own personal grandeur, one who called for the wholesale slaughter of your fellow Nigerians, is now the mouthpiece of the collective destiny of the igboes.

If the leaders of the movement, if the caliber of people in the ilk of Atiku, Fayose, FFK, Kanu, and such other tainted and violent, dangerous men are the neo-vanguard of your idealist balkanization of Nigeria, then your movement is already collapsing under the sheer weight of its hypocrisy.

Fayose and FFK milked the Nigerian system dry. They are beneficiaries of both the rot and magnanimity of our failures, and they became so affluent in a society as rotten and broken as they depict. Yet when they lose power, they talk of restructuring and marginalization and war.

The igboes want power and affluence on a platter of gold; they want the presidency and the key to the resources and influence it entails handed over to them. It doesn't work that way. It's a democracy; field someone halfway decent and take your chances at the polls. You can't sulk and throw tantrums if you cannot win elections; nor should you harbor a persistent victim mentality for a war you started and lost almost half a century ago.

The yorubas have no reason to complain: they held power for 8 years, but what did they do with it? All OBJ did was cultivate another generation of looters, and set in motion the tragedy we see before us now.

And currently their man is running affairs at the top while they hold key positions. Lagos has enough IGR to not even need much of its federal allocation. Why isnt Lagos like Dubai or New York?

The minority tribes are also misguided; democracy is a game of numbers where there are only 2 sides: the minority, who will have their say, and the majority, who will have their way. You can't have democracy any other way. Your damnation is your numerical status, which is no one's fault.

So this rampant aggression is a collective assault at democracy, and yet we insist it's here to stay. Why wanna eat your cake and still have it?

Is it my fault as a muslim northerner if your leader screws you out of your rights? Is it your fault if the endless retinue of Northern leadership impoverished my society while they wallow in stupendous wealth?

Is it my or your fault if the Akpabios and Amaechis and Wikes and Odilis impoverished their own people?

Start at the grassroots, where your angst and suffering began.
