Yes it takes about 2-3 months before you get their outcome, and yes TRA can be strict but I got a positive outcome with a BSc from them.

Getting all the documents you need ready including medicals outcome and PCC just before submitting your application and uploading them once you've paid, hopefully once you are assigned to a case officer, they see you've submitted all required docs and as such may not need to contact you for additional documents.

No.. but the polio vaccine can be recorded in the yellow card along with other received vaccines.

Read the first page. There is a link to the occupation list. In front of each occupation is the respective assessing authority. Accountant has three.

You will find their requirements on their website.

Hello everyone, my husband have NABTEB (advanced level) certificate on mechanical engineering from Benin technical college and he wants to assess as metal fabricator from TRA. Please we want to know if anyone has ever assess with the certificate before and have positive outcome, please we want your opinions before we part with 1000 dollars assessment fee. He has been self employed for about 9years now and he has a registered company.

For PCC its best to do it when you have gotten your invitation to apply for visa and ready to pay and submit cos it only lasts for 3 months. Same applies for medicals, there's a number that will be generated from your immi account which you can only access when you have been invited to apply, you'll take the number to the medical center. Based on my experience your medicals determine your entry date (I stand to be corrected) so its best to do medicals like 4 days before you pay, by that time your results would have been uploaded and you'll be submitting a complete application.

If they say so. Metal fabricator requires a cert 3 or 4 which is similar to OND.

I think your best bet is to first confirm if such certificate is assessed by Australian standard and on which level is it placed, before making the huge payment of $1000. You can also contact @ Lawland to assist you to check that. Had similar issue with Trade Test Certificate recently before it was discovered that the certificate is not assessible by Australian standard.

If the requirement says 6 in each band as minimum, then your listening has let you down no matter what your overall is. Depending on where you want to use it, you may contact the organization should they be flexible in the English requirement.

I don't understand them anymore. Apply for NT nomination on the 1st of July and my application is still reading "Awaiting Admin Review".
