The Queen's justice was not as bad as I expected. Ellaria and Tyene killed many innocent people, so I think their punishment was well deserved.

Dany's invasion plan is falling apart. She lost her navy (the Iron fleet), her Unsullied army, and her Dornish and Tyrell allies. This was a very good day for Cersei. Dany only has the Dothraki army and dragons, which means she can't defeat Cersei without fire and blood. Westeros is bleeped.

It also means that she absolutely needs Jon's support. Perhaps he will promise to bend the knee to her if she helps him to defeat the night king.

Missandei and the Onion Knight seemed to be flirting. That was nice.

Littlefinger's advice to Sansa doesn't seem that bad. What exactly is he up to?

Sophie (Sansa) is of the best actresses on the show. She really sold her first scene with Bran. No wonder she got the X-Men role. Respect.

Bran seems to be ridiculously overpowered. It is difficult to make sense of his abilities; even Sansa felt uncomfortable.

Frpm the way events are unfolding, cersei is currently leading Daenerys in remaining on the iron throne. GRR Martin is a great writer he knows how to let we(the viewers or readers) keep guessing with his pen and paper. Cersei wont win the war to come.

Remember that casterly rock has been taken by the unsullied whih is the stongest hold of the lannistes. Was that Euron's fleet burning the ship of the unsullied?? I didnt quite get that scene well.

Ellaria deserves whatever purnishment given to her by cersei just that cersei would do it in a brutal and unwomanly way.

Littlefinger is up to something for sure but ithink Bran will discover whatever plan littlefinger is cooking up. Remember Bran is the thtee eyed raven.

The meeting between daenerys and jon snow didnt turn out bad. I knew jon will never bend the knee just for bending sake.

Who heard wat mellisandre told varys?? It seems varys will die soon just like her, although i dont trust the prophesy of that woman.

(Show Spoiler) That was a good episode. I consider it the best in the season so far.

Jon and Daenerys: I counted 8 titles for Daenerys while Davos managed to come up with one for Jon-King in the North. Jon realized that going south is never a good idea for a Stark. Certainly Dany knew the history of Torrhen Stark, but did she remember that there was another king in the north called Robb Stark? It was painful to watch her try to boss Jon around, as he wondered what kind of fresh hell is this? Bend the knee? Warden of the North? And we got that much repeated line: “I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms. And I will.” I didn’t expect her to say that to Jon, and really, I felt embarrassed for her.




However, I do expect the alliance has already begun. Daenerys must know that Jon will not bend the knee, plus Varys had to break the news to her that most of their fleet was destroyed. This episode showed that Jon is right: they do need each other. Cersei will not go gently into that good night, and Tyrion really does want Jon as an ally. It is very bad form to use guest right’s badly against a Stark as Jon is a prisoner, but he did convince Tyrion to let him mine the dragon glass. I sense the show is trying to make their relationship interesting to us, and that makes me very uncomfortable.

Who get the part where olenna let Jamie knows they might b wrong leaving casterly Rock for high garden. I think it's a wrong move cos they might be disappointed on the aftermath.

Dragonstone - Jon + Dany + Tyrion- The scene played out as expected. From Tyrion and Jon meeting amiably, discussing over Sansa, Missandei listing down Dany’s titles with a bewildered Jon and Davos looking and supplying only one of their own. There was no unnecessary drama and the situation played itself out, as it should have. Dany’s camp is invested in their upcoming struggle with Cersei while Jon wants to focus on North. Dany wants his fealty which Jon, answerable to North, won’t provide. Jon wants their alliance against White Walkers which Dany, having no proof of their existence, won’t provide. It still ended in Jon’s favor as Dany’s trust (still) in Tyrion resulted in him getting permission to ehhm Dragonglass.

I think Jon is also showing some political naivety now. When he accepts that Cersei is a big threat, then he should be ready with some kind of solution for this particular problem. He can’t just continue saying that he doesn’t want to lead and is forced into these situations. Ultimately, he is, so he needs to start learning and reacting accordingly. Dany, to her credit, was much less trigger happy and was happier to engage in dialogue and listening to her advisers. Unfortunately for her, this approach is simply not working. Tough luck, she may have to embrace her “Dragons plant no trees” maxim as much she would hate that.

Also, Jon didn’t want to highlight the fact that he has resurrected. Maybe afraid of the “freaking people too much” part. Dany caught on that though, may come handy in future.

Casterly Rock siege - Tyrion vs Cersei Tyrion has been outsmarted by Cersei Twice now!!! Let sink in. Everyone’s favorite dwarf, who has once famously that proclaimed, that he is cleverer than Cersei even at half of his capacity, has been outsmarted twice now. Cersei decided to abandon the Rock in favor of Highgarden. Smart move which gained her the gold and, if it reaches to King’s Landing safely, support from Iron Bank. As Euron has destroyed Dany’s ship at Rock once again, the unsullied sitting there are out of commission. It also proves that Cersei is her lethal best when she is under pressure. Tyrion is underestimating her to his own peril.

Sincerely speaking. I must say the lannister are very smart , cersei and Jamie knew that Danny would attack casterly rock, so they made it easier so that they can trapped Danny's Unsullied army with Euron troop.

In as much as I hate Cersei, her evil is just pure brilliance.

King’s Landing - Cersei + Jaime + Euron + Sands - Euron was reveling himself in all the applause and adulation. The gift played out as expected and Euron left with Asha after having some more swipes at Jaime. Things don’t look too good for Asha especially seeing how they ended for Ellaria and Tyene. Cersei used the same poison, with some adjustment to work slower, and same delivery, kissing Tyene, and left her to die and rot in front of Ellaria.

The brutal revenge followed by sex with Jaime later is proof enough of what drives Cersei now. Like Mad King she is driving sexual pleasure after killing her enemies. Like Mad King she has already used wildfire to burn her enemies and may do so once more. Like Mad King, she may meet her end from Jaime’s hand who is supposed to protect her, just like Mad King. The parallels deepens and the Prophecy rises.

She also had some creative punishment for Olenna had it not been for Jaime’s good nature. Her character is that of an unremorseful and vengeful antagonist and she is not going to back down, especially when she is on a roll now.

What next for him - he will go and find Dany and maybe his connection with Sam can act as another brownie point for Jon.What next for Sam - still trapped in Citadel and not getting what he wants.


Missing in Action  Arya, White Walkers, Wall, Hound and BwB. Seems like the plot of White Walkers will only be dealt once they have done fighting with each other. It would be good to have some glimpses of what the undead are up to, just to keep the tension mounting for viewers from two fronts.

I was hoping it was Arya at the gates. . . .still managed to be moved when I found out it was Bran. Then the little fùcker sat there like he was made of steel or stone while his sister he hasn't seen for 7-8years cried and welcomed him.
