python is quite easy to pick. make a python installation, search for python*.chm on your pc. open the python doc and there you go.

honestly, you can't appreciate django if you arent comfortable with python first. your tutorial isnt here bro.

I learnt python a while ago, but due to some conditions i couldn't continue, guess I'll just freshen up what i learnt then, learn further and then continue to learn django on my own, but there's a part i still dont understand oo, I keep hearing python 2.7 and 3.0

Please can you share the name of the template you're using on your blog.. Its quite lovely..

I will start the tutorial as soon as we have 20 interested people.

The only prerequisites for this training is knowledge of python (or advanced knowledge of any programming language- I assume you should be able to catch up if you are very good with any programming language).

It would be impossible to follow this tutorial if you don't have a laptop, so for you guys who code with your phone, go and sell that expensive Samsung Galaxy you are using and buy a really good used laptop that you can use to write code.

If you are using windows as your development environment, try to setup python,django,mysqldb (optionally you can also install redis,django-redis-sessions,celery). So as not to mess up your development environment you should also install virtualenv.

Buy a can of Nescafe and milk. Wont hurt giving yourself a good reward of a hot cup of coffee after cracking that challenging task.

I will try to make it as modular as possible and would answer questions after each module.

There will be assignments which i expected would be deployed on a server.

Might also help to get a GitHub account so you can upload your work to GitHub.

Also you can get a free AWS account so you can run your code on a live server.

thanks sire. that template actually evolved into what it is now. a little tweak here...a little tweak there. the original template, i cant remember the name(been running that blog since 2013); i'll check my archives though, i should find the original somewhere. and yea, saw your mail too.

I was trained at Django Lagos and it was fun. Though didn't have a laptop as of then to continue but am good go now. So please bring it on Sir/Ma
