nkemdi89: You are not Igbo. That's the point. I don't give a dead rat if you believe in ten Nigeria or one Million Nigeria. Stop impersonating and mis representing my people. That's all. You are not from Delta Igbo, and your are also not from Delta, seeing how bad you think of Urhobos. I have no doubt where your kind are found. 4 Likes

Ngozi123:I am a Nigerian, first of all I am a human, that's what matters, I don't hate any tribe, because with my level of exposure, I have been privileged to relate with people from various ethnicity and also I have lived in the whole zones, we need to breed an healthy environment for our future generation free from tribal sentiments and I am an advocate of one . so ngozi be proud to say you are a Nigerian first. 1 Like |

tomakint: The two statements above are from one writeup. The first called Nigeria a "contraption" while the second demands for an Igbo President for Nigeria; a contraption, this time dubbed "united" Nigeria... Your demand is legitimate (and I sincerely wish it happens in our lifetime) but you (Igbos) cannot yet realise this because your people are inherently individualistic, clannish, and selfish and democracy is a game of numbers and deals. Heck! Even the current IPOB uproar is fueled by same selfishness (we, me, us, Igbo people, our land). Nigeria is not a contraption, you're so wrong there, she is only let down and disgraced by her people but it is not gonna be for ever, she will get it right one day and rise again and we'll get a clever Igbo President or an Efik or Ogoja President or an Igede President if he/she wins a clean election. Amen. 3 Likes |

@laudate you don't get my grouse with the #op. He just threw Murtala in there without as much as a side mention of the man whose effort did the main job. I pay attention to the tiniest bit of detail in things like this. 1 Like |

nkemdi89: I didn't say that you weren't any of those things . I said that you're not an Igbo woman, which you aren't . If this isn't enough proof that you aren't actually an Igbo woman then I don't know what is... Why would anyone be proud to say that they're a Nigerian? What exactly is there to be proud of about this country? 2 Likes |

Modsenemy:Why do you like to revise history so much? http://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2017/06/my-opposition-to-secession-zik/ When the 1954 constitution conference started, my good friend, Chief Obafemi Awolowo tabled a motion to the effect that in the new constitution, provision should be made that any state which feels like seceding should do so. I was opposed to it and said ‘no’ and said that once we have a federation, we are indivisible and perpetual. So a full day was given to Chief Awolowo to make his points. He spoke brilliantly as a lawyer. He made his points why secession should be incorporated in the constitution. He cited the case of the Soviet Union which is a federation, and that secession is written there so that any state in the Soviet Union can secede at will. He also cited the case of Western Australia and eventually he finished his case and was applauded. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Ngozi123:Ngozi I have many reasons to be proud of Nigeria, my blood is green and white and I won't change it for any country. So many people out there are looking for a country to call theirs, so many slaves out there are trying to trace their origin, while I know mine and you think I shouldn't be proud of it? I don't know your level of education or exposure but believe when you step outside the shore of this country , you will understand the importance of nationality no matter how good or bad . |

Ngozi123: Stay out of your business when that albino hunchback called Kanu is coming to Lagos? Have you forgotten that it was when your fathers advanced on Ore that started their misery. Yorubas own you lot, you're our property. The Rivers people seized your brick and mortar property, Yorubas seized your political and economic future. 5 Likes |

@nkemdi89 I respect the fact that you do not wish to disclose what ethnic group or stock you belong to and as such I would push you no further on that. Personally,I do not go about identifying myself by my tribe but there was something you said that made me raise the question that I asked earlier on. 1 Like |

nkemdi89: I don't believe in nation building with Arewa Oduanistanis, anymore than a Frenchman believe in nation building with neighbouring Germans. Fences( borders for Nations) , make for good neighbours. I believe in Nation building, Igbo nation building, that involves uniting all Igbo speaking people in SE, Enu-ani, Oyigbo, Benue, Cross Rivers, and beyond, into one formidable progressive monilitic nation, in the mould of the likes of Japan and Germany. 2 Likes |
