Hi fellows,
This issue of Nnamdi Kalu and IPOB has taken over the fact that we are in hard times, still in recession,no jobs,no electricity,no good roads.
To me i think we should put all youthful strength in making the country we found ourself gokd and better.
I guess your grandfather did not tell you what a war looks like, they didn't tel you that the war contains two part which are suffering during the war and more severe suffering after the war.
I am proudly igbo, but a wise one,Nnamdi Kalu is not my leader even if referendum is given today, because he lacks all good qualities of a good leader,i have never seeing him talk about the development of his Abia(my state of indegene),no investment in the East,no Job,no good road, how do you expect an average igbo man who has struggled to build his plaza in alaba or tradefair to go back to the east where there is absolutely nothing.

Think about it,these men beating drum wars carry alon their passport ,they have multiple citizenship in different countries, when war begins it me and you the ordinary man,who will suffer ,who will die for nothing, let us learn from the past, face our lives and family, grow old ,die good to.make heaven, heaven is the only place we should fight to belong.

Please preach peace, we all here i bet never saw the last civil war. I pray thee young fellows of Nigeria, embrace peace.......
nobody is asking for war and i doubt if u are igbo because biafra is not just about kanu but d whole igbo nation

Simple scientific extrapolation. If you cannot live in a country where other people are doing better without being disruptive, your effect as an independent state with an army would be worse.

It would just be war on all sides of the border and civil war within the entity. We refuse to subsidize the folly.

He described the anti - Igbo song as “ evil, satanic and pre- genocidal ,” and
warned Igbo people in the North not to ignore the grave implications of
the messages conveyed in the song , adding that the song was a further
confirmation of the alleged plots to kill the Igbo living in the North

KANU is a canterkerous coward and he's the nemesis of the innate hatred of Igbo people, so KANU knew what hateful speeches are when he kept cursing and inciting his fellow pigs to prepare to kill any Hausa and Yoruba man in Igbo land.

The poor loser is busy playing the victim as usual, I don't know if this particular tribe is built to self destruct, Persecution complex is ingrained in their soul they'll never appropriate blame to KANU.

People shouldn't pity them one bit, both those in the north, west or east, most actually want the evil KANU preach to befall Hausa and Yorubas.

While condemning the hate song in it's entirety it remains to be said that the SouthEast drew the first blood with the hate and war mongering approach to self determination (a right legally theirs to claim). Law of cause and effect playing out here. Nowhere in history has hatred overcome love. All wars end up at the round table where love prevails. Pause and think very, very deeply and you will see that what gains Ndigbo have made within Nigerian power equation after the civil war ended is fast getting eroded with the disconnect and distrust engendered by the modus for Biafran agitation. For a sampler, Ihejirika might for a very long time to come be the only trusted South Easterner to be NA Chief of Staff for understandable strategic reasons. Has Ndigbo paused to ask why despite Nkalagu limestone deposits and numerous competent SouthEasterners in his employ DangoteGroup is not in the SouthEast? Spread love not hatred.

Lord knows I've lashed loads of criticisms on the crude, uncouth campaign of Kanu and his zombie Ipob followers, but on the other hand, this blatant dishonesty that a lot of you critics, especially Yorubas engage in wears thin as well. Your false equivalence between what Kanu does and the threat of the Northerners is dishonest. Regardless of whatever nonsense Kanu has spouted on Radio Biafra in the past, there is no one who honestly believes in his heart-of-hearts that secessionist Biafra agitators pose a real violent, fatal threat to other people. Everything from a Palestinian boy killed in Israel, to a Danish cartoon, to staging Miss World in Nigeria, to losing a Presidential election has seen many animals in the North with no value for human life carrying out massacres unprovoked. They have a very long history of blood-thirsty pogroms that pre-date Nigeria's independence.

If after October 1, we see almajiris wielding machetes to massacre Igbos (and believe me, plenty of Yorubas and other Southerners and even Northern minority groups will be roped into the carnage) in the streets of the North, it would not be because they listened to Kanu's Radio broadcasts years ago, or his speeches to Ipob and got provoked. Most of them wouldn't have heard or watched or read a single thing that Kanu or Ipob have said. It would be because their blood-thirsty peasant mobs are always willing tools in the hands of the extremists who control them and send the mindless degenerates out to do their bidding. There will probably be a few reprisal killings in the East, but it will never come close to their carnage, cos we just don't have it in us to be such blood-thirsty butchers.

Kanu exercised his right to freedom of speech and people who support him are within their right to do so. It is a free world. I don't understand what you mean by the table turning. The Igbo will not lose a pin to Nigeria again. This time they will get the sovereign nation they want and use it as a platform to recover any Igbo property that ever get forcefully appropriated in Nigeria. No one is playing the victim here.

Then stop complaining about the hate music circulating the north

Nigeria is a country that is built and oiled by ethnocentrism coupled with religion affiliation... a failing leader cannot be called to question because of his ethnic group... “A young man came into the church through the back door of the church and started shooting, while backing the alter. Many people tried to escape through the two doors and to our surprise, the gunman started shooting at them on both doors. It was a terrible thing. “I did not rush out like others immediately and it was most of the people who tried to escape that were either killed or wounded.” and you tell me its a drug war not an invasion?

So you were there ? Good. Now let's reason together.
In your first post, you claimed "one of the men" entered and started shooting, 'backing the worshippers' while raining bullets at the empty alter.

In this latest post, you claimed "a young man came in through the back door and started shooting at the worshippers 'backing the alter' ".
Now if these three contradictions could come from an alleged eye-witness, don't you agree we need discerning mind and brain witness to sort out the truth or not of this testimony ?

Here again - "one of the men" changed to "a young man came in through the back door".

"backing worshippers and shooting at the alter" changed to "shooting at the worshippers while backing the alter".

The first gave more than one shooters while the second refered to a lone shooter.

If i were you, i would withdraw my statements entirely because they portray you as a liar, a confused or a mischievious fellow who is out to instigate religious bloodletting .

From your contradictory posts coming from within a couple of hours to statements by other "witnesses" the priest and down to Nnamdi Kanu's statement on the incident, it would not be out of place to suspect IPOB as the culprit who staged the shooting in order to put paid to election in Anambra as well as start a religious war.

You are at liberty to have your opinion of me, whatever. I don't support savagery but i said what i said because i've observed igbos for years and my conclusion is that they have very irritating tendencies and attitudes. The pogrom of 1967 was caused by their arrogant and overbearing, domineering attitude.
Having said that let me say that in yorubaland, a adage, literarily translated, says "whoever wants to eat with the devil must possess a very long spoon".
It never said we cannot eat with the devil, but we must diploy tact which i guess the igbos lack.
For instance, if they get into a bus to "preach" the gospel, they act as if they are lords of everyone inside the bus and the rest are inconsequential without rights even though they are infringing on the rights of the passengers. When they pass their cursed envelopes for the seed, whoever refuses to take one is certain to be sarcastically tongue-lashed. It is a general trait in them. In the SW, that the people tolerate it does not mean they are not incensed by it but being civilized, they simply let it ride. But not so upnorth. You know how over-sensitive these people are about their religion yet you will go out of your way to infuriate them with your mannerless and overbearing attitude.
Two of the riots against igbo in the north i recollected was alleged to've been caused by the sale of suya or fried chicken with a sheet of the Quran while the other was accused to have used the paper to clean after deficating.
These people really need to talk truth to themselves. Instead of them to start their spade work for biafra from global diplomacy of seeking the aid of heads of states, ECOWAS, AU, EU and UN narrowing down home, they started by making enemies of major tribes in the country, making hate speeches and threatening them with genocide and war. And whoever does not support the method or offers a piece of advice is automatically an enemy. Any region that is not shouting hoarse for self-determination is a coward. Is that decent and acceptable ?
In my own opinion, the igbos and northerners are one and the same - while one is a savage by words and attitude the other is by action.

In that case, let's support them for their self determination agenda. It seems they have an identity that they only can indentify with. So let's support them to have their own country! In that case, everyone will be happy staying with his own and those who have similar identity with them. It's hard letting the Igbos go, I know, it will pain everyone, but it seems the best thing to do! Same way the state of Isreal could not live peacefully with anyone, it lead the Germans led by Hitler to kill them in numbers, a genocide long condemned by the world. It forced the United Nations to carve out a land for them. Even today, the state of Isreal is so domineering and have a superior mentality, so their neighbours hate them and always fighting them. It looks to me like these Igbos have that Israeli type of attitude. The best thing is to give them a country of their own. I support that. I urge you to!

Sir, it is the best thing that could ever happen to this country otherwise, we would only be postponing a very terrible evil day.
I can't understand what you mean by it's hard to let igbos go and that it will pain everyone. How do you mean ? Please, speak for yourself only. Did igbo run the SW during Awo's reign ? Did they record anything comparable to ours ? Where are you from and do you lack confidence in your ability or what exactly is your reason for saying that. As for me, i would be extremely happy and relieved to see them go.
But getting biafra does not exclude igbos from living in other off-shoot nations of Nigeria. The only difference is that it has to be subject to the immigration act of the nation con-concerned.
Another option i believe we might try if igbos and unity beggers agree, is con-federation with a clause for any dissatisfied region to seceed after a stipulated period of years. That way, everybody stays in his father's enclave with a few factors holding the country together.
But for anyone to dream that Nigeria will continue as presently constituted is to be living on a fantasy island.

That (the bolded) is your problem. You don't know the difference between opinion and facts.

The tendency to use your twisted opinion to discredit historic facts, is called MENTAL SICKNESS.

Ever seen a sane person arguing with a mad person?

Here's to highlight your display of mental sickness:

1. Someone posted a timeline of igbo killings since 1945. But you justified the killings and called it "reactionary" (in your warped opinion) without providing any counter facts. This a case of pure delusion - trying to change historic facts with silly ideas of personal opinion.

2. When I called you out on your falsehood and pure hypocrisy, you switched to claiming that other southerners were murdered too (as if that changed the fact that igbos were killed), yet without any reference to those other phantom southerners.

3) I thought you claimed initially that all the historic killings were only reactionary? I was waiting for you to cite how igbos provoked the 1945 and 1953 massacres, for example. But you suddenly switched to the rants of "other southerners were murdered too".

Can't you see how those underscore the sickness? undecided

Your point is well-taken that Almajiris do not separate Ndigbo from other Southerners when the mindless mass killings characteristic of the North holds. The point I seek to make however is that the mode d'emploi of agitators for Biafra that involves unfair and unnecessary hate speech pushed in the direction of its intelligentsia who, one way or the other, tend to have some measure of restraining influence on the flotsam and jetsam of the North who actually do the killings would appear unwise in all the circumstance. I'm in the hope you got my drift.

Stop this long grammar biko. Nigerians are fund of big-big English to cover up their hypocrisy and crass failure, e.g their thieving politicians. You don't have facts to back your submissions, so show some little bit of self-honor and bow out of this argument.

With respect Sir, appraise my views objectively. I'm sorry for what you term big grammar. Do please have my assurances that I am not about hypocrisy.
