To be honest this Biafra of an issue is tiring, if you ask an igbo person in diaspora especially igbos living in Lagos what is their take on this Biafra issue, the reply I get is that they don't want the break they are not concerned about the Biafra of an issue....... from what I have seen the most people agitating for this break up are the igbos staying in the South East . if you select 20 igbos in Lagos and asked them what their take on Biafra is, 15 will tell you they are not interested in it...... So why are the igbos in the South East pained than their fellow brothers in diaspora,

The thing is confusing. please I need answers

then desist from creating treads with the intention of cajoling a legitimate struggle of self determination. What we only want is a country of ours and will be determined by REFERENDUM which means it's not by force, then all those whom you have sought their opinion will have the opportunity to vote against It. PEACE

Legitimate question, do you really think a country of your own will somehow elevate your living conditions? Do you not see this as the same old political bs that the masses are always roped into?

Cry? I honestly don't care, it just seems terrible that people are being blinded by some rich guy yet again.

@ op... Most igbos here in southEast are not in support of Biafra but the major issue is the way the government is tackling it like it's a crime... The other day I saw via cnn that 1 of em countries in UK or so either Scotland I can't remember, might conduct a referendum to brkout ,no fuss was made but here de government are making it sound as if you are committing a sacrilege even our nothern bros are making matters worse. Even now as am talking to you there are fake news papers carrying fake news abt Nigeria and Biafra deceiving people here in Enugu that this happened that happened...

after the Hausa vs Yoruba clash at ife, only yorubas were arrested including an oba, they're still unjustly detained till today plus many other problems affecting the yorubas but you hardly see them agitate or discuss their problems rather they would be moving from one igbo thread to another spewing hatred over what is not their concern. a famous sage said that "an unexamined life is not worth living"
