When I was growing up in the former Bendel state and we were addressed as the mid-west, we had a very viable economy at that time. A.T&P(African Timber and Plywood) was one of the biggest foreign exchange earner for the Nigerian govt at that time and we had quite a substantial amount of foreign investment in the mid-west then. It's so sad that such a big company like that ended up packing up. Truly, the government has to look at how the country was run in the past that created a sense of belonging for all ethnic groups. For those who do not know, states like Edo and Delta, were addressed as the mid-west at that time. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Time will tell how it all ends but going by history that always repeat itself it means the government should be more then prepared as the break up or better still the restructuring of Nigeria is gaining more momentum day by day. That day is all a matter of when it will happen and not if it will happen |
