Hello everyone,

Please can someone who has some funds (7,560 Cad) in Canada (refund from institution due to student visa refusal) open a dorm account in Nigeria wherein the money will be transferred. Will this meet the soa requirements of IRCC for POF ? Putting into consideration the fact that the dorm account will be a new account and may not necessarily have the usual 6 months cash transactions and also the money will stand out in the soa as a lump sum being the only transaction in the account.

Secondly, I have a property which is worth over N2m which I intend to dispose of and use the proceeds to buy treasury bills of 6 months duration and then include the treasury bill as part of my proof of settlement funds.

Profile:

Crs score: 456 though I'm still waiting for ECA so I haven't exactly entered the pool. However, I am drawing out my plans in anticipation of ITA which I am fairly certain will come when I enter the pool. Also I am a single applicant and I know the required funds for single applicant is 12,300 Cad.

Kindly proffer your recommendations as per my circumstance.

It is cumulative.

If you have spent 6 months or more in the last 10 years or since you were 18, u will need a U.K PCC.
thanks,

Evidently, for your first question, a LOE should take care of it. You are after all gonna explain about the visa refusal anyways with a form. The VO should understand.

And for the second question. You are already going about it the right way. Yes, Treasury bill certificates are allowed. I believe you bank should state that in the letter they'll give you. And you can also attach the certificate.

Hi guys. Please i would like to know if its possible to do alagbon pcc by proxy. I ask because i stay very far up north and with work and having to move with family, its going to be a real hassle to get to lag. It would really save me a great deal of stress if its possible.
Kindly share any helpful info

You can get Alagbon PCC at the CID department of the Police Headquarters in your state of residence. You do not need to go to Lagos for this. This applies to ALL states

@VCOLE we dey here ooo, I travelled to a part of Nigeria for 3days were Internet is like Gold, only to return tonight and see additional 38pages to catchup with in just 72hours ooo...it is well!

MW, I got a movement on my file on thursday - Review of additional documents now No additional documents needed, after 46days. I think I triggered that though, Since they said my file was still at CIO, I kukuma raised a CSE and sent wife's FBI PCC to them (we were initially waiting for them to request since we had that debate of 5months+ not qualifying as 6months) ... I am just relieved that there has been some activity now sha, no matter hw insignificant it might looked.

Congratulations to all the recipient of the recent ITA, it shall end in praise.

It's 93DAYS POST AOR AND STILL COUNTING

Hello all. Good evening.
I have an issue with my NOC. I worked as HR officer for a few years . I moved to another company and I am now the HR manager but I have worked for just a year in the managerial role. I want to claim hr manager NOC 0112 but saying I have worked for just a year reduces my CRS score.
Is it possible to claim the full 3 years and use both ref letters for HR manager and HR officer. I don't know if I should just use the 1 year NOC like that.

NOC misrepresentation can be a big deal. In this case, you should simply go for what affords you the more experience (HR officer?). They really don't care very much about how senior your role is, but instead about how many years experience you have in your chosen NOC. Years of experience max out at 3 for express entry and at 6 for FSW.

Except you find a NOC that settles between those two duties, don't misrepresent.

Your IELTS result appears to be okay. Take a second look at your educational history. Is it up to at least, 16 years?

You may need to create another profile once you identify what the issue is.

If your IELTS is less than 2 years, it shouldn't stop you. They need CLB7 and you meet it. Could it be your experience? You need more than 12 months. It's something you not noticing. Maybe you should share more details. Do you still have access to change your profile?

you mean the much you were charged is £12 (6000naira)? UNN charged me 35k for transcript, one would think overseas institutions would charge a foot and an arm for it.

My school charged me 40pounds each. (For my self and my husband) which included cost of dhl. £20 per transcript then £20 for delivery.

Double check on the figure your put as funds you will be traveling with. Make sure it is above the required amount for your family size... Pls confirm that and let's see if it works.

@40manlappy says I need to have 16 years of education history. I checked and I didn't input any for primary school
6+6+4. That's the only thing I can see at the moment. My funds are way over and above. Like I said it was the ielts that was my concern but I read somewhere 6 is the least score.
