Isaiah 17 is a bit difficult to understand but in the end it is also about Israel; do not forget that the Abraham was an Assyrian/Syrian, and as you read the chapter you will see that that chapter is also talking about Israel. The things that Israel will go thorough for forsaking God.

I have created a thread to explain the abomination of desolation, you can read here. The body of Christ is the Third Temple, do not be deceived. The third temple will only be completed with Christ the chief cornerstone when Christ comes. So the body is being prepared presently, the building is being built, the head of the building is coming, the husband of the church, and the Lord of the Temple.

My Bro, I see your challenge is that you have not yet crossed the paradigm of belief in that you have not yet situated the real Israelites of the Bible (the Negroes). Once you cross that line, you will begin to see the connections more clearly. My bro, the Bible is in layers, one layer after another. The literal view works fine, but the problem is that that is the milk of the Word. We need to move on to crushing bones and sucking marrow, that is where the real treat of the hides.

Wormwood cannot be a literal star in the sense that it is scientifically proven that the smallest star is bigger than our planet earth. If a star falls on us, we are all gone, extinction. Yet the Bible says the earth is forever. When you see seeming unscientific fables like talking snakes, or talking donkeys, just know that the juice is in something deeper although you can still use the lessons in the literal view.
