Team october,how're we holding on,hope we're getting ready,abeg make una help me chook mouth for my matter o.Yesterday i went for scan at 32wks according to my lmp. The result shows that one baby weighs 2.63kg at 35wks while the other weighs 2.17kg at 33wks 4days. Edd for the first is now 28/9 while the other is 8/10,though i'm not so concerned about these new edds as the very first scan i had gave me one date for both,which is 9/10. My concern is why these discrepancies in weights and ages.Then the one that worries me now is that the presentation for the first is breech lying right oblique,this has got me really worried since. Does it mean all this while i feel heavy down there,they have been sitting down while i'm thinking it's the head. Please what can i do to make bring them to cephalic.....Thanks

epidural in gen hospital asokoro is 50k,so its quite possible. each hospital wit diff price list

Scans calculate gestational age based on the fetus weight and development, some fetus grow faster than their actual age some are slower. One of the reasons babies weigh differently. Twins are 2 different fetus their weight can't be exactly the same. And as regards position, they change positions all the time. One needs to worry only when it's 36 weeks.

My hospital charges 100k for epidural alone! And sometimes you even have to get the epidural twice!
So calculate that, plus delivery charges, plus other things.

Wowwww, VD with Epidural 60k Lucky you my Gynae charges 80k for epidural, dats without the Delivery fee. My dear, just opt for VD with Epidural..no need to form strong Naija girl cos dats the Birth plan I opted for too cos my threshold for pain is Low abeg!!

is this how it use to be? Haaaa, Oga o... Even after trying all known & learnt remedies on this thread... Nausea, vomiting, smells, weakness, et al has been the order of the day.

I need yout opinions please!

I was invited for a repeat scan today by the doc just to make sure everything is in good condition after the bleeding episode 2 weeks back. Everything looks fine except that cervix length has shortened from 39mm to 34mm which doesn't sound pleasant to me.

Now the doc told us that we have option of stitching the cervix or repeating the scan again in two weeks to watch the progress. He said he suggesting this cos it's a multiple pregnancy.

Now I'm worried cos this is our first pregnancy, is it advisable to get a cerclage done or what do you think is best to do. Above all I know God is involved and I'll carry them to term by his grace.

Prayers work o no doubt but even the bible says in times like this seek the doctors.

That's is why it is always given when you are 4cm to 5cm dilated...You don't really have to take it twice if it's been administered by a good Anethetist,he/she can always top it up if it's wearing off and dat shldnt be a separate charge...not heard of pple taking it twice but and even if they did, the hospital shld be able to give Discounts on the hospital charges!!

My threshold for pain might be lower sef. I've already opted for it oh I'm just waiting patiently for October to come
