If you want long drawn out arguments over nothing then na that shekpe thread sure pass for you! Our debate here is with martials consistency in games or a lack of it! He has started the season well from the bench but given the chance to start on Saturday I noticed he reverted to type and was drifting in and out of the game! I mentioned it here that the 1st half of that game reminded me of last season and that the outcome would show a lot about our mentality this season!

Sadio mane never gives his marker a moments rest...I can't even tell whether I am watching his last or latest match sometimes because in every game even when liverpool are failing you notice his work rate, willingness to defend, goals and aggression! These are attributes I want to see in martial...he had that kind of work ethic at monaco but at united he is always looking disinterested And feels influencing games is not his responsibility! He was not too great defensively even then but he was a live wire in attack...he lacked fear and was more of a risk taker! When you are young you have to play without fear and learn to enjoy your football...that is what will build your confidence and jose has already told him that this year is his year! Meaning that the coach has given him a license to roam or blow! Forget tactics...That's why to a lesser extent I don't really mind when pogba takes shots and misses or attempts a few dribbles from time to time.....it is part of a learning curve! I remember when lampard was also a balloon master or even cr7! Look at how they turned out!
