Modern English construct isn't confined to the few sequences and patterns in your imaginary corpus, so it is okay if you reject my sequence as being ungrammatical but grammar isn't only a large but finite set of observed utterances and written texts, it is also more abstract like the implicit knowledge competent speakers have about grammatical sentences and also can be a combination of the two. What you lack is the implicit knowledge of a competent speaker, which says a lot about your claim to speak English better than say, me! Yet still, how is "comprehension" a noun in the sentence "do you know you're comprehension deficient"?
