I have stated the reason already. You still couldn't get it. She doesn't want u to think she is an ipob. She wants you to hear her opinion without bias. Simple!
Saying I'm Yoruba on Nairaland does not automatically make you a Yoruba. Simple. There are many IPOBs here on Nairaland claiming to be Yoruba.

Hahahaha! Yorubas. You guys are so funny. True! From this post, the OP is one of the few unbiased, non tribalistic yorubas while the commentators from her tribe do not want to understand what she wrote because of tribalism. Lol!

Twist it whatever you want. That's your palava. Everyone knows who I'm referring to and it's not the op. Like I said after you're done, cry me a river!

Bros, assume she is an igbo. Now, read her message again knowing she is an igbo. Did you understand her message now?

Read my posts again. I've said Yorubas are not against your agitation. We recognize that it is your legitimate right, but what we will never embrace is hate as personified by Kanu. It is absolutely unnecessary to precede your posts with "I'm Yoruba" because that is completely meaningless.

The Op is nothing close to a Yoruba, it is a "he" and an "ipob" inpersonating Yoruba. Don't be deceived by what he wrote up there as majority of IBO's in the West can speak and write in Yoruba.

Hey! He was not referring to the OP. He was referring to the man focusing his mind on her tribe and not her message. I'm sure the op herself is intelligent enough to know whom he referee to. Stop instigating hatred.

While it is meaningless to u, it is meaningful to some.

Good for you if it adds value to her argument. For me, it is completely useless, unless for people who may be trying to hide their true identity.

Yes I am a Noise Maker , I repeat what is the Federal Government afriad about granting referedum /the Yearnings of Biafra Agitators ,it does not start today ,it never started with Nnamdi KANU ,its not about a single person ,with or without Nnamdi KANU the struggle for Biafra Continues ,Take time and read clearly ,do be patient a bit and at least for a minute do not let Sentiment,Tribalism and ethic interest rob you of Objective reasoning .I am a Yoruba person and will never take sides ,Self Determination and Referendum is non Violent ,The Federal Government could go ahead to pick Nnamdi KANU today off course subject him to Life threatening conditions ,He may die in Prison that does not put an end to the struggle .What is the fear of the Federal Government in regards to Biafra Agitation or granting a Referendum .Probably the Federal Government is afraid if Referendum is held there will be more YES to let Biafra go than NO among the Igbo's ,My personal thought though.
No leader anywhere in the world would sit back and allow the size of the kingdom he rules be reduced.

You are right. Even some igbos do not know their village again. Most are now full blown yorubas

What then is the significance of "I'm Yoruba" preceding her posts?
It is indeed better to keep quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and erase all doubts.
the significance is obvious. people who share the Biafran views here are often dismissed as the "ipobs" and so she wants to make it clear that she's Yoruba even with though she's sharing the Biafran view

I am against Kanu because he acts and also speak like a genocidal maniac. I believe the only thing holding him back is lack of access to weapons. As for the self determination for Biafra, who I'm I to say you cannot agitate?

what has being Yoruba or not have to do with the major issue (question) she raised?

Do u have any answer to her questions? If yes answer otherwise get lost from this thread.

I well understand the antics distractors like u use..

U know very well u have no reasonable argument hence can't engage probably,. But u really wanna distract the post by all means.

You failed
Better luck next time

Who determines what is major here, you? I'm asking you a question you are trying to divert attention to what you consider major!
If you think her ethnic identity is not central to the "major" question here why then did she use the same method in not one, but two of her recent posts on the same subject? Use your head.

But the Op did not talk about KANU. She talked about Biafra. Her point is, since the Biafra ideology did not just start today, why can't FG solve it once and for all. @Obailala who understood the topic has given a good response to it. Stop relating the topic to KANU nor Yoruba.

She did talk about Kanu and this is the quote:

"The rapid knowledge about Biafra spreading like a hurricane fire ,many people with sound ideology and Love for Biafra like Nnamdi Kanu will come up after he might gone"

Can you please please help her in explaining the sound ideology as espoused by Kanu, please don't gloss over his hate speeches because that is all radio biafra ever did, and that is what landed him in prison in the first place.

The issue of referendum is not as easy as it appears. Presently, there is no clause for it in the constitution.
It is not a thing the President or the Executive can declare by fiat. It is is going to happen, the National Assembly will be involed and the constitution must be amended to accommodate it before it can take place.
