The guy does not have as much responsibility as the woman in preventing a pregnancy. Feminists and feminist sympathisers continually inundate us with the fact that nobody should dictate to a woman what to do with her body. In fact, there is a common mantra, "my body, my choice". And so, I repeat, the lady has more than 90% of the responsibility in preventing a pregnancy. You women cannot have your cake and eat it too.

After two abortions, it would behove a right-thinking person to first analyse their situation and determine if the relationship fulfils their needs and if it is worth being in.

What you women are intentionally leaving out is the fact that this woman hasn't been forced to have sex. If she went back to have unprotected sex after not one but two abortions, then she needs to be kept away till she can think.

By the way, tell your sisters to stop fûcking poor men. It is the height of wickedness to saddle a man with a baby you know he cannot cater for. If he is not worth getting wet for, don't get wet for him.

These are the cold, hard truths I would tell my daughter if she were in this situation. Nobody in Nigeria can be forced to cater for a child except in Lagos state, and all it would take to move to Ogun is a pittance compared to the cost of child care.

Of course, you all can feel free to gather around and try to make her feel better about her stupidity but it will not do a dot of good for her. The reality now, is that she has a child coming with a very reluctant father. Yab him from now till tomorrow, it has not changed.

If she keeps that baby, he has equal responsibility to support the child, and should be made to pay for that. I hope they're both in Lagos, at least I know the L/S govt is really trying to get irresponsible fathers involved in the costs of the delivery and subsequent child support for their responsibility. Hopefully, other states would follow suit. It's just a matter of time.
There's nothing like she trapped him with pregnancy. If he didn't want to be trapped, he should have used a condom. Men should stop being cry babies. "She trapped me".. Very ridiculous statement. Tell your poor brothers to stop carrying their Kondo about chasing women, without even having the sense to use a condom. Telling them the women are being wicked by getting pregnant is foolhardy, trying to absolve them of their irresponsible acts. But hey, even Adam did the same. "The woman God gave me made me do it". In one breathe blaming God for giving him the woman, and in the same breathe blaming the woman, yet never accepting the responsibilty himself.
No society gets anywhere by its citizens not taking responsibilty.
It takes 2 to get pregnant, so saying it's wicked for a woman to get pregnant for a poor man makes no sense.
