The President of Christian Association of Nigeria Rev. Samson Ayokunle, has advised the Federal Government to invite the agitators for talks with a view to finding a lasting solution to the crisis. He said, ‘’The best way to win is to have a dialogue table whereby the Federal Government should hold on to the superior argument. That is what can move us forward.” Ayokunle, who is also the President, Nigeria Baptist Conference, said violent agitations would further compound the problems facing Nigeria. The cleric spoke at the inauguration of the new gate of the Bowen University, Iwo in Osun State, and inauguration of a radio station on the campus, 101.9 FM. See. You dont dialogue with people who play to tje gallery, with no respect for authority, the law or to their words Kanu went into Dialogue with elders as regards Anambra Election, after all those elders wasted time trying to talk reason into him.. He finally succumbed and everyone thought that its over.. But immediately that Kanu came out, and people were mocking him for listening to reason. He immediately backtracked and renaged on his promise to allow for peaceful election, and turned yo No Election in Anambra. The thing is, if PM comes as low as negotiating with him, Kanu will agree to cease his brainwashin. But immediateky he steps out, the coward will be saying that he couldn't listen to Buhari because of mouth odor. Ipob! Yoruba was never/is the enemy. I advocate Buhari dialogue with whatever is left of the leadership of Ipob just as Obj said. That way, Bubu will be showing a listening and compassionate side to him which is good for his image and ratings at this turbulent time. The governors in the East should as well canvas for a diplomatic solution on a roundtable. Court cases withdrawn, amnesty given where necessary and let everyone go about their businesses. Lastly, the agitation for Biafra is a mindset thing which many of us feel is justified.
