Rapture is quite different from what you know as rapture today. Today's doctrine speaks of an easy escape route for Christians. But Bible verses speak contrary to that as they point out that Christians will be persecuted during the great tribulation. We will all be on earth then, not in the sky watching. It is when the tribulation becomes too much that even the chosen Christians are about to start giving up that Christ will come.

You have to follow the sequence of biblical events . To deny the rapture is to deny entire bible. Rapture of the church must take place before the seven years great tribulation will take place. Those who miss the rapture will experience the great tribulation .
