If xtians were to be going to church on any other day apart from Sundays, imaging the traffic they would be constituting.
But because Sunday is a day where everybody gets to stay and relax at home.

I believe there are so many churches that constituted more than this on Sundays but because the road would be less busy unlike Fridays.

There is one winners very close to the main road alone Yemetu oja in ibadan, if that church were to be worshiping on any other day aside Sundays, I can't even imaging the kind of traffic would cause.

The problem with us in Naija is over sabi, we are now more Muslims than the Arabs. I am presently in Dubai, I witnessed their Islamic New Year and yesterday, Friday. All over the city, I didn't see where people blocked the road to pray nor did I hear any morning loud speakers for prayers. It is a crime in this country to do this. If Nigerian Muslims actually want to be real Muslims, they should emulate their Arabian counterpart. Did I also mention cows don't stroll on the road too. The city is so beautiful at least replicate the splendor in Nigeria, that is how we would know they are the followers of Mohammed. This is my third time in Dubai in the space of 8 years. The dollar still exchanges for 3.61 DHS. The transportation cost has only increased to 5 DHS per km from 3.3 DHS just last year. Did I also mention that all those luxury cars that idiots like Melaye and Yahoo boys pose with in Nigeria are regular cars here. Ferari, Posche, Jaguar and the other cars are like pure water here and you can get it with 0% interest charge. G wagon and BMW latest series are the average cars here. Their taxis are the new Toyota Camry cars. Please if we must copy people's religion we must also copy their economic and social plans too. This also applies to Christians too. Our hypocrisy in Naija is first class. Even this religion we practice doesn't reflect in our lives. This is Dubai at Night not a single porthole. They are not in anyway hostile to other people. Nor be the same oil we get that they also have.

My friend you can't just be in a place and conclude that other places are like where you are, in Abuja along Aya there is a church there painted with ash n touch of red I don't know the name but they do block road then in nasarawa coming down of ado junction there also block road there that bike has to follow the long route wen going to junction every Sundays but I still want u to know that is wrong even though both religion are guilty of it

Vehicular traffic causing hold-up is not intentional blocking of road for the road to be used for service. In 2015 ramadan program of NASFAT , I slept on that road.

Spreading of mats on roads is unacceptable in yoruba land in 2017. For decades, no any new modern mosque has been completed. Always relying on government and holding people & government to ransom. The new mosque in old secretariat is built by Lagos State Government. Opposite is Arch Bishop Vining Memorial Church complex built by Christians. There are other christian edifices in Ikeja. They should mention one edifice they have built since the death of Pa Folawiyo

My brother, I understand you. I am not against Islam. My good & trusted friends are muslims. My issue is this, a friend of mine was in foreign mission on behalf of Nigeria in a core Islamic country between year 2011 & 2013. He said he was surprised to notice that on Fridays, they don't block roads for Jumat service as it is the case in Nigeria.

Which means that country is more advanced than Nigeria. I have just read on this thread again that it does not happen in UAE. I want Yoruba land to advance also. Please, I have stepped on toes, people should forgive me.
