I resigned from teaching job in December 2015 and since then I have been trying to start my own business to no avail.

I got it registered and tested the idea with some people with great acceptance. Since January I have been stuck at the same point.
I felt I am not destined to succeed as I have done everything possible including fasting.

I have been seriously considering suicide for a while now and its the thought of my mum and fiancee holding me back.

However, I may do it one day as my expectation was dashed again this week.
I live alone and have very few friends who visit me occassionally.

Hope you realise it very hard for new biz idea to pick up due to the fact that the country is just getting out of recession ?
Some things just take time .
If it was easy EVERYONE would av been successful.
Talk to other successful biz men and ask them about the suffering , hardship,tears , they passed through before there biz pick up.Then u will understand it just a phase.

Everyone just threatening suicide like say Na beans. Look, none of us have life easy. Na just grace most times. It's better you go and find another teaching job so you can survive. When money is coming in, you can then think about why you failed and what you can do in future to avoid those same failures. As for me I intend to ride this life like an experienced surfer. Till I get to the beach where the surfs end.

The thought of man is different from that of GOD......you just failed a couple of times and you are giving up already!,haven't you heard that quitters ain't winners. My Dear,you got life and good health be thankful...(I have been in and out of the hospital countless times,My bank statement is gauging red,but every minute of my life I say Thank you LORD) coz I knw God is preparing someting big for me......Better days ahead and always be hopeful. Plz do away with such thought

Op, i wud have told you to go and die but...........the truth is you're still sleeping, how does fasting help your business, you only make yourself hungry and add to your frustration. Fix that 'fasting solves problems' mentality and watch your life transform into something sexy

Rarther than talking about your suicide maybe you should talk about your business so we can see how we can help or guide you, most startsup hardly pick up during the first years even Jumia or Konga still run on investment funds not sure they're breaking even but in the long term they might, so tell us what's the business about.
