I even take niggas like Drinkbleach that are 6/10 in everything than niggas like Bakayoko and Ramires that are 10/10 in running and tackling but 2/10 in receiving ball and passing. Truth be told, at a club of Chelsea level, we cannot make consistent progress without the right midfielders. Any club that is consistent must have a certain level of midfielders, not patch-patching the midfield to accomodate flaws. TBH even a nigga like Drinkwater should be playing Scott Parker role, not hoping on him as first choice. FFS, this is the club of Ballack, Essien, Lampard and Makelele. Only Barca midfield was consistently better in it's day and.mostly because of genius Xavi. Now I can't even rate our midfield top 10 at any time in the last 6 seasons.
