I never disputed that fact if you can read between the lines in my message. More so, did you read the issue/question that led to my response? We are all trying to help a fellow out here. I used testimonials for my OND and HND for WES and they were acknowledged within 24hours but he use certificate and statement of result for HND and OND respectively. What works for me might not work for you'take note' as we continue in this PR journey. Let's look for way out and not castigating........... Different strokes for different folks

I don't think you should leave a decision as important as this to people. Do your research and decide where you want go. Australia, New Zealand, Canada and a bunch of other countries have this PR thing in place. With the right research you can identify where you should leave Nigeria to.
okay. Thank you.

Good evening my Canadian family,

Please i need guidiance on the filling of my EE profile as i am currently stucked and unable to edit my profile after submission

1) After filling the EE profile i was deemed ineligible despite the fact that i used the Come to Canada tool and i was deemed eligible— Create another express entry profile with a new email address

2) I indicated a settlement fund of CAD 22900 for family of 4- Try CAD 23000

3) I did not see any place to fill the details of my other dependants (Children) except for my wife. Let our seniors answer this one.

4) I did not see any place to input my WES Ref number though i saw a place for IELTS TRF No and i have inputed it.— Let our seniors answer this one too. grin

5) After ifilling the form, i clicked a " TRANSMIT INFOMATION" button and my information are now locked and uneditable.-

6) What have i not done or done wrongly? —
I think you should check that you filled the correct information on the Come to Canada tool.

Your suggestions please.

Go for your Masters in Canada or US. Try to do well in your masters, do PHD if possible. In Canada you can get a work permit after your Masters, it's possible in the US too cos i know of someone that got a work permit in US for her internship after her masters.
All the best.

Trikings2000:

1. Payment is required with the use of a credit card. I made payment using mt sisters credit card in the US. I think they should accept a debit card as well (mastercard or visa). Gtbank naira mastercard limit was recently increased to 1000USD. You can call their contact line btw 5.30pm to 9pm nigerian time to verify directly from ICES.

2. Yes you can send transcript without ref no. But if u have the ref no before processing ur transcript u can as well include that.

3. Documents are required to be sent via email. Only ur institution should send transcript directly via email or courier. I sent mine via email as stated on their website.

Regards.

If institution sends the transcript by courier, how will one know ICES has received the transcript? Will ICES send an acknowledgement mail to that effect? If yes, how long does it take? Thanks.

@threadstone @senors @jummolami, WES finally got docs on October 3rd and status was changed. Just checked now again and saw status showing this yet ETA is October 24th. Though i strongly believe this will be much faster. Told them via chat to help expedite the process as i had lost a month due to their technical errors.

Mr Balogun, Big congrats to you o. your ECA should drop on or before 24th, so get ready to jump into the pool as a draw might happen that day.

Good morning everyone, trust we had a great night. U gave 2 questions pls.

1) For those that have had previous US visitor visa refusal and gotten PR, what did you put as your reason. Was it a short explanation or long story. I intend to put "I have been denied US visitor Visa twice. The Visa officer was not convinced I had strong ties to my home country at that time. The Visa Refusal was under INA section 214 (B)". What do you think?

2) while uploading docs in the placeholders, Must we convert everything to PDF format? including the digital passport?

Thanks all.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by smslive2: 9:12am On Oct 06, 2017
The bolded should b enough... The Visa Officer didnt tell you anything about the refusal. so that should be enough.

Good Morning house,
I have a question.
I added my spouse yo my application sometime in August and have been stuck at background check in progress (ip2). I logged on to my account now and discovered that it changed from we do not need additional documents to additional documents are required to continue processing application but there was no indication of what the additional document was and no placeholder. I didn't even get a notification mail.

What do i do?
Please advise

Hello guys. While you were talking about visa refusals, I realized I had filled "No" in that part of the statutory questions in my E-APR because I thought it was visa refusal to Canada. I had a visa refusal to an African country but I appealed and got the visa. Is it too late to inform CIC? Could it count as misrepresentation?

You better run there now and start the process. You don't know what you have. I'll give almost anything to get those extra points as it has been made clear Unliag diploma doesn't count!

dombosco:

I just hope they evaluate Unilag diploma and bsc as two or more certificates mehn. Tho I have OnD from offa polytechnics but to go there and request for transcripts is money and time consuming unlike getting to send the diploma and bsc I both have from Unilag to WES. Sigh!

Oh no don't waste ur time doing that.

Please check page 0 of this thread and see check if u r eligible for express entry. If u r that's a possibility of being a canadian permanent resident.

If u need help come back and ask questions and you'll be answered.

why advice someone to go through such long route.
There's no guarantee of having d said job u r talking about.
If u R eligible for express entry especially as proof of funds is out of d way.. Why not advice him to take that route.

Tobigo12 please don't waste ur time and resources on this route... Follow d bigger picture which is why this thread was created. Like I said start from page zero and help ur self with the information there.

Update! - Medical passed and UCI issued today Oct. 6th- 10 days post AOR. Apparently, the hospital waived submission of my LUTH report. I thank the Lord. Wish everyone of us God's speed.

Hi Olamide, when you added your spouse, did you pay the fees for her application, have you done medicals and PCC for her? If you have not done that, i advise you do that and raise a CSE to send the documents asap. I have a feeling that is what they are asking for.

Hi guys, please I need a lil clarification. We are preparing to dive into the pool once we are done with ECA. However, I hear that there is an issue with a pregnant woman undergoing the medicals. Kindly clarify and if so, what are the issues. The pregnancy is less than three month, is there any reprieve? Further clarification from people with same experience will be appreciated. Thanks

You are better off getting that PCC and declaring the travel history. There's greater chance you'll hurt your application if you don't.

Alright, can I get that at their border as well? Or is there some sort of agency inland that will issue the PPC?

While I understand that it could take varying timelines from person to person, depending on factors, perhaps those that have completed their processes could just mention how long it took. I want to work with an average, I'd know how to also multitask all that needs to be done to cut the time.

I appreciate.

I understand that Canada is largely joyous about your babies coming on... They want children that would come change the game in the future and add spice to their diversity. Kids won't be a problem I guess.
