Do You Have Any Idea Why They Think You Are Lazy...or What Do You Normally Do That Makes Those People Say You Are Lazy?

Onila but you get sense before!

Your threads do make sense..you do post about people cultures from all over the world "beautiful people from this and that"

But recently it seems your brain has been hacked! You just go about opening Stupid thread all in the name of attention!

Why!

Leave this fuckery to FrustratedRat and Mamagee

because at the moment

i am not working . .not because I don't want to work

i am still deciding if I should go back to school or work

i want to think before i make a major life decision

so some people in the house think I am lazy because they think I have been thinking for so long undecided grin

Yep, life is indeed hard everywhere. You have to work hard to succeed everywhere you go.
Re: I Am Beginning To Believe Life Is Hard Everywhere by olaboy1: 4:29pm On Oct 06, 2017
I think you are recently coming to terms with the reality of life, and the laid back approach of your Africaness is conflicting with the hard work ethics of the west, you suddenly realized that many people do 2-3 jobs to stay afloat compared to Naija lifestyle.

Don't let this overwhelm you or demoralize you and don't let anyone push your gas pedal faster than you could handle, take your time and soon you would start to figure things out and the journey becomes clearer. Make sure u are working at least 2 hrs daily just to keep you in perspective.

Ask yourself some basic questions like

>> what's the core reason why I feel less motivated
>> what steps can I take to feel motivated again
>> where do I want to be in 2-5yrs time

Write down all your answers and gradually walk your way up. I wish u good luck

If someone gets the right education, they only need to work 1 job in the United States, Canada, and other "first world" Western nations.

Of course life is hard, it's not just hard its unfair coupled with survival of the fittest.

Yes, I was referring to her post where she alluded to further her education or opt for jobs.
You agree with me that it is going to be a tough task to combine work and study in the west considering all the bills you need to pay and also especially if OP needs to pay tuition fees.

Oh I got you.

I agree that it is difficult to combine study and work in the West. That is very true. But if she is in a situation where she can not go back to school full-time what she could do is work part-time and then go to school part-time. Many Western countries at big renowned schools offer their degrees online, so she could consider that (e.g. Arizona State University, Pennsylvania State University, University of Illinois, etc.).

There is a coffee company in North America known as Starbucks, if she works part time there, she could have her school paid for freely by them:

https://asunow.asu.edu/20170322-asu-news-starbucks-partnership-expands-pathway-to-admission

If I were in her situation, I would try to find a company like Starbucks, even if the pay is menial, she could attempt to work maybe 20 - 25 hours a week, and then pick a major from their online degree major that will be well-paying like Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Just my 2 kobo.

in Africa even the least paid job is difficult to get but there in the west u can always work if u are ready to work.
You can never compare the west to Africa. Make a decision quick and get going .there is no time staying at home thinking if u want to make it in the west.

This is false information. In the West (North America), people are quickly being replaced by automated machinery. It only pays to read STEM subjects in the West now unless if you have connections (as in knowing someone who can give you a good job). Corruption exists everywhere.
