Even if they were users, they were not addicts. Even if they were, what are d chances of both over dosing at the same time? And dying the same way? Especially just after another friend died a few days before. People sober up to reflect in life sometimes. Story no finish.

I considered myself a Sharp guy and I am not naive to drugs or addiction... Yet, My own brother who lived on the same street as me was a heavy user of both marijuana, cocaine and God knows what else he did''.... No one suspected until he overdid himself one day and almost went mad.

That fateful day, I woke up to text messages and multiple calls from him that made no sense - We Rushed to his house and saw lines of coke and my brother panicking that someone was trying to kill him (Paranoia is a symptom of excessive drug use).... He's been clean now for 6 years but we went through a lot during those years.

Anyway, Your brother or son or even wife could be doing drugs and you won't know. This statement from the family is pure denial but maybe it will allow them sleep better at night passing the blame to a murderous deal rather than bad parenting. This is when they should start watching the younger ones and cousins but typical Nigerians will pass the blame to evil spirits or deal gone wrong!

The day my brother called me was the day i realised I wasn't a good brother. That's when I realised I wasn't paying attention and i had to change myself to become what the bible called your brother's keeper!
