IF you are surprised these nothern fools are begining to come out then you have not seen anything yet , they used the army to remove Nnamdi Kanu from the way and as soon as has been removed from the way the Hausa / Fulani are finding their way out of their caves and dingy holes.

None of these imbeciles could open their mouth when Nnamdi Kanu bestrode the length and breadth of the East and Niger Delta, they have used the Military to silence him and these Northern foools are emerging from their pits.

Re: Restructuring: You Can’t Treat Unequals Equally, El-rufai Tells Igbos, Others by FBIL: 10:56am On Oct 12, 2017
My understanding of restructuring is devolution of power to regions as practised in pre-1914 era or even 1963. HellRufai likes using rhetorics to circumvent what people already know. Restructuring is not secession. From the way Nigeria has been, only devolution of power to regions can thrust up our hidden talents, create healthy Competition that will engender prosperity, security and quality in all we do, as obtained in those countries where our leaders run to hide money, buy houses and build refinery. We want to better this country so that HellRufai will go to Port Harcourt, Ekiti or Enugu to invest, hide his money, receive quality medicare or build his refinery, maybe because he doesn't want to invest in his North West instead of taking it Saudi Arabia or Dubai. With healthy Competition among regions, foreigners will return to our country with their currencies and our economy will bounce back without this artificial patch-patch that the CBN is doing with our currency now. Agitations will never, I mean never stop if those benefitting today continue to scuttle the plans for a better tomorrow.

with the way the likes of el rufai, tambuwal, that jubril of a guy and co are talking it has become clear that the entire south needs to unite and make a bold statement with the 2019 elections, if not we will remain In this state just as the north wants it
It's obvious things are not working as it is now but they don't see reasons why things should done differently

Enough is enough

It is quite unfortunate that the south do not see eye to eye, especially SE and SW.

Have you noticed that these two zones are becoming the most tribalistic zones in this country

We really need to look into how to control this resources, do you mean the resources gotten through FG investments?

You need to understand that the states needs to invest heavily first to get this resources. I want to be realistic, FG would not give you out their investment to any state for free unless the state is ready to pay for it.

shocked

El Rufai in his usual classical nonsensical nature managed to spew a certain bitter truth.

There is no such thing as equality!

It is absolute madness to think so.

The woman selling garri in the market uses same "mudu" to measure for all but the measurement for all is never equal, even though they all pay same price for it.

Everyone deserves to be treated fair but not equally.

It is just a natural phenomenon.

Nigeria is not an exception. The only tragedy in Nigeria is that, the level of inequality is too obvious to be accepted as natural.

We just need to better the situation by embracing fairness because equality can never be reached!
How I wish we can just adopt this your mentality when admitting students in unity schools. Will you be surprised they may not be any Hausa student there based on cut off mark. You people only talk of best practices when it suits you.

el rufai missed the point completely,we need to move past what works for all(present system, which is not working)to what works for a part of the country(restructuring) such that if individual parts work better, the country as a whole is better off

Sure that's the sad situation at the moment but we need to look beyond our differences In order to change things for the best, we need to act, somehow I feel I shouldn't say some things cos anyone standing up against this set of people alone will likely b eliminated, I know very well that of the entire south is willing we can change this status quo within a few months except they decide to push for war which is not out of point considering the way they act when this issues are discuss and how they reason but we must stand together

El rufai speaking rubbish again. Restructuring is a matter of when not if. It's unavoidable it will happen.
It's easy to talk like rufai when the status quo favours you. I get his daft drift. But the build up is already there...it will reach the point where it will be restructuring or nofin. Rufai should enjoy the disproportionate share of resources while it lasts because it will end at some point.

Even though the news piece was sketchy, I tried very much to match the title to his speech.

But unfortunately, there is no connection.

If Vanguard was a Russian newspaper whose interest is war and resentment, I understand. Or they just want to sell more news. Looks like bloggers have infiltrated Vanguard news.

I agree with with him, this is why we in the east want restructuring or total breakup because we are not equal. How can we be equal when the North contributes nothing. In education we are not equal, in IQ, in development, mineral resources.... Mehn! We can't be with our subordinates.

And it was not an injustice and inequality that the South who produce over 65% of Nigeria's revenue pockets less than 40% of the share?

Let the rubbish keep burning and let our use.less leaders in the South continue to keep mute just because of the loot they share.

That's what Nnamdi Kanu saw and said Nigeria is irredeemable hence, his unflinching agitation for Biafra.

The North have made it clear that they aren't going to give away their undeserved enormous advantages in Nigeria; an advantage that has marred development in the country.

They have refused, condemned and fought aggressively against every inch of process that may lead to actual restructuring of Nigeria yet, they can't provide an alternative structure that will engender development in the country.

This is what they see: a Nigeria solely owned by the North, that must service the interest of the North first, that must be dominated by the North alone. Anything to the contrary is a gross flouting of their "Fundamental Rights," (the born to rule right).

So, when the North through the federal government vigorously fought against Nnamdi Kanu who was already changing the status quo, the gullible minds and the very uninformed never understood why but jumped into the propaganda that Kanu was an agent of "Hate and Division."

Unfortunately, we the South will continue to suffer the it.

I need to quote this

how does this correlate with what amarabae just said?, is abuja not built with oil money from our land?

Elrufai is very right. Each region must grow and develop based on their comparative advantage, which can be natural resources, human resources I.e population, large landmass or good climatic conditions. We are not equal and can never be equal, thus must harness and exploit this inequality to our individual advantage. This to me is the bane of restructuring.
