The brown roofs are what attracted University of Ibadan,International institute for tropical agriculture,UCH,Nigeria institute of social and economic research NISER as far back as 1948.Then,other Nigerian cities were still using dried palm fronts as roofs.

Not that other Nigerian cities replaced there brown roofs.the fact is that when those ibadan houses were new,they have none!


That is why,no city has more brown roof than ibadan and no city has more modern coloured roof than her except Abuja and Lagos ,not even PH,because PH s very overhyped!.
