You think those DPR guys don't have handwork to have asked candidates that didn't make the cut-off mark to update their profiles? Like someone pointed out earlier its been like a year since this applications were made, some people might have acquired additional qualifications/skills and so, the need for the update and again, if the update was general then it wouldn't have been to few, it is also possible that it is being sent to only those with incomplete data/record; we just can't tell; but I know by experience that those that got this update notification are likely moving to the next stage so, starting preparation should be more beneficial than wallowing in argument. So, you too, Mark my words and quote me soon again. Cos it seems you just wanted another attack to disorganize this thread again but you will not have me cos this is my last reply on this subject matter!!

If your portal closed just move with your life. God is greater than dpr.

If after one week we could not log on and others can then something is wrong.

Sending regret mail is at dpr discretion. They may not send any mail yet you stand disqualified.
Those who could still access portal may also not receive any mail but can be contacted through portal.
If you can not access portal how can you be contacted?
Portal close means we are out of race. Take heart

Hw can Application Portal closed be Comprehendible, Accurate, Relevant, Clear, Timely, Flexible, Valid, and Valuable without a clear statement/standing

If those who were asked to update their information up to the 27th of October are not having PORTAL CLOSED by now, so that they can be on the same page with those who were already having APPLICATION PORTAL CLOSED, it may be very difficult to add up one and two together.

Let's call a spade a spade instead of working implement. I am APC and I know that's d end. People that want to be optimistic out of zero, even if the invite starts rolling to those with editable, they will still give themselves hope that APC will be 2nd batch. I am not discouraging anyone because your life, your business.

The email from DPR is what will finalize everything and not what people are saying.

In 2014, we wrote an aptitude test for an OJT, some were given dragnet opportunity without interview " that was when I knew that the word DRAGNET indirectly connote those who did well and are given some special treats" , some where asked to proceed for interview and some were sent regrets mail. Could you have ever imagined that those who got regret mails were later called again to come for interviews and some were later picked.
So the thing is, everybody should just relax and wait for their respective emails either interview or regret email. The HR department can decide which method they wanna use for the recruitment. I have seen where recruitment portal was closed after aptitude test and the only form of notification and communication was only through email.
Our Over-assumptions and I too know as Nigerians is what has made us and our country to still remain in this quagmire.

Anxiety is very crazy, it bothers you and after all, there's no change it is able to effect.
Let DPR call you and until then, find rest in doing something that makes you move forward.

It will not be long and the controversy this DPR Recruitment has generated online & offline will be over. When interview invites start trooping in, the major questions people on this thread will be asking is this: (1) was your portal closed during the time some were allowed to edit their information (2) was your profile showing 'object moved' before it turned to Application Portal Closed? (3) Are all the people allowed to update their Info sent interview invites? (4) You that was sent interview invite, was your portal closed at anytime? (5) Are you still having access to your portal, and so on? What will matter then is that you got an SMS OR an E-Mail notifying of the next stage while all those questions/arguments will gradually be overtaken by events.
