I can't find the stats for China yet, but I remember watching the game, it was even except the scoreline.

If the possession stats for Barca is always within that range, the they can't be tagged as an attacking team.
Brazil is not a team that have possession in the range of 70, not even 60% every game.

Not all madrids triumphs from 1998 to 2002 was all attacking, infact within that period of 18 years in which you mention. Man united twice, FC porto, Liverpool, Chelsea, intermilan and arguably milan has won the competition more by defensive solidity rather than gong ho attack.

I agree with you, there is no way a team can win a game with 0% possession, neither can a team have 100% possession.
